Capri Motel, Scottsbluff

We were out there for 5 days, and they gave us a very good rate. The rooms are a little outdated, but the housekeeping staff did a very nice job keeping it neat and clean. The only thing that was a little difficult was the fact that we took out two dogs with us, and there wasn't a good place to take them out. They have a lot next to the motel, but other people were taking there dogs there, and not cleaning up there messes. Overall though I think they did a good job, and if we get back to that area again we would have no problem staying there.

I was there for a week. Had a great experience ---I was a little skeptical after I read the reviews. Seems like the old staff is gone and they have some very nice people running the place. It is a great value for the price and I thought the location is great as all the restaurants are walking distance from the Motel. sue

The rooms were okay, but the non-smoking room we were in smelled heavily of smoke, and maybe cat urine? At check in and check out, the people at the front desk were very curt and not at all friendly. The cleaning staff were also not very efficient, and took way to long to finish our room. We stayed three days, and if we had time to make other arrangements, we certainly would have. Also, the train runs past very, very close to the motel several times at night and throughout the day. There is a busy crossing less then two blocks from the motel, so the train whistles blow hard and loud. Not a very pleasant place to stay. Perhaps if the staff were friendlier, it might have made up for the other issues. We will not be staying here again.

Very good value, very clean and very quite. The management goes beyond the call to keep loud and drunk individuals ran off of the premises. I have enjoyed my stay 100%.

The new managers have decided that they do not clean rooms if you stay more than one night. Do nt make up beds. No vacuuming. Maids are only allowed to stay in the "stayover rooms" for a few minutes. If the guest requests special service they ask the maid to clock out and do the usual service on their own time. Just a few months ago this was one of the best stays for me. I am in a motel/hotel every week. When I asked for the owners name and phone number or address, the manager asked me to leave. I think the owners should know why I won't be back and neither will any of the persons working for me.
