Commander's Inn, Leavenworth

Pros: It is clear from the high level of service given to customers that this is a family run business. The staff were always, courteous, willing to help me with questions about the local area and acted promptly to requests. The rooms are well kept and above average for a hotel in this price range. The free highspeed internet in every room is also a plus. I also had no trouble with booking well in advance internationally (the opposite of what other posters have complained about). Cons: To be absolutely honest, the place isn't much to look at from the outside, but it makes up for it on the inside. Overall, very good value.

I tried to call and ask a couple questions because someone had reccomeded it to me. I called the person who answered asked for my name and my phone number. I gave it to him... then I asked him question and he said "what????" then he said "credit card number please" I said NO. I told him again I had quetions. and then he then again asked me for my credit card number.... so I kept trying to talk slow and clearly and then he said "never mind you will have to call back" then hung up! Totally rude and they need someone who can speak ENGLISH!! STUPID!! will not stay here because of rude help over the phone.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 5 years. The staff are nice and helpful. The rooms can be outdated but I overcame it quickly. What gets me though is that when I called to make my usual reservation to stay for 4 days they told me that I have to call a few days before I get there and see if I could get a room! Of course one would like the assurance that when they fly in and arrive they have a place to stay! This went on several times and finally I quit trying. Customer service was out the window and they were rude to me even after I explained all the times I had stayed there and was trying to give them business! So I went over to Super Eight and am okay there. Sure I pay a higher rate but at least they are great when I need something, have a pool etc.......If you can get a room enjoy, it might night last long!

Well I had a business trip planned and it got cancelled but the surprise I got when I called to cancel was that I had no reservation. I called and made one a week or so ahead. The person that answered could not speak good english and told me they had no rooms. All I was trying to do is cancel a reservation I had made. this was a real turn off for me so no more calls to this establishment for this lonly traveler.

The service was so great and the rooms are very very nice. It is a very good price for what you get. We had our annual reunion and that was are place of choice, I have not experienced a hotel with graet service and cleanliness in a long time.

I have stayed here many times and have found the hotel to be well-appointed and very close to most of the attractions in Leavenworth. The staff has always been polite and helpful. The rooms are very reasonably priced and have a number of amenities such as high-speed internet and refrigerators. I will stay here every time I am in Leavenworth.

We felt very comfortable and very roomy. We go there often to visit our grandchildren who live in Leavenworth. Staff is friendly and remember you!

stayed there with my family last weekend and had no problems, whatsoever!! very nice rooms, nice and quiet atmosphere and great rates!!! wish there were more of these hotels closer to home!! Great Job! You got my vote!!!
