This resort is located on Table Rock Lake, just outside of Branson. There are rolling Ozark hills, towering trees and beautifully landscaped grounds. The resort is divided into six areas with kitchenettes, lodges, Swiss houses and Dutch houses. If you are going to be in town with a large group, this is a fantastic deal. During the summer you may even be there for one of the ice cream socials. Clean rooms, fantastic surroundings and country hospitality all work together to make this an enjoyable place to stay.

Big Familys Don"t Belong
By hi, 07/06/08
First lets start with the positive. The staff was very kind & Helpful. The walks I took with my Kids. Now for the neatives. Going down to Tribesman my whole family of about 14, my wife and 3 kids plus her mother my mother and dad and so forth. Now when we arrived, Like I said the staff was very nice, however your vacation neighbors for being on vacation were horible everything my family did from the kids chasing lighting bugs from us just sitting on the patio we were stared at. Now I know that is out of the resorts hands, but we felt stressed ON VACATION because of this. My wife cryed on vacation. You are very close to your neighbors so you feel like you have to tip toe around the resort. Normal talking after 10pm is not aloud you will be to noisy & befor 8am SHHH no talking above a whisper! Now my sister did raise a little cain & cursed which is not aloud & I understand that. So we got reported for being to loud, however that situation with my sister was resolved by the family in a matter of about 10 minutes. At that time the owners daughter came up to see if everthing was ok @ that time she told us that we had alot of complaints against my family, the loudness from my sister was in the middle of the afternoon. No one besides my wife and I was out of the cottage before 8am & we even got reported for being outside before 8am. We were told that maybe we should stay inside untill after 8am. There is soooo many rules that the neighbors use them against you on having good clean family fun.. On another note we was going to have a bond fire, but was told that we would need to be very very quite about 9:30pm, now what is the fun in that. We went on vacation together to have fun, but all we received for 1000 dollars was alot of stress. I was sooo happy to leave vacation and come home. Now lets talk about how clean the cottage was. Under the beds was dirty, there was live bugs all over inside the cottage we came home with bites all over everyone. If you want to go to Branson which is Great fun I say stay on the main strip and you will have more fun than Tribesman Resort..

HORRIBLE!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/07
This place is as "homophobic" as it get's and it comes with it's own "psycho" woman. We were there 8/26-8/29. I was the one who found the resort and thoght it would be great to start an annual trip each year with friends we don't see much all year. So me and my partner, my best friend and his partner, plus 2 more close friends all arrived on Sunday. The young girl who checked us in was very nice, however the owner Arno sr. kept insisting we get a cabin with alot more beds. I could see he was mature in age and i didn't want to explain that we were a "couple", the the girl explained she had set this up and was giving us what we wanted. Even after we paid he sent her out to our car to say we needed a bigger place so we could all have our own bed, we at that time explained to her and she understood. We get in this room and it was old and smelt! Here comes the "un-believable" part. We go to the indoor pool and swim. It was approximately 10:10pm (we thought it was around 9:30pm) and we were getting ready to go back to our room. Gayle (the owners wife) slammed the door open and at the top of her lungs yelled and i quote "You people WILL get out of here, its after 10pm. I live a block from here and i can here you ANIMALS all the way there YOU people WILL get out of here You WILL get in your room and You WILL be quiet!!!) Ok, so we are all around 37yrs old and we were in SHOCK over this womans actions. Two of our friends were so upset they immediately left, then me and one of my friends told her how dare you come in and act like your acting, we are not children and we know for a fact we were not loud. Then we left to go to our rooms. The real kicker is this was considered off season and there was only 1 guest booked in a cabin next to us. We were gonna leave, but my princibles of knowing we had done nothing wrong, were gonna keep us there and having fun. We only saw Gayle a couple of times, she would actually hide or avoid us (probably embarrassed). We never got an apology or anything. The pools were in need of BAD attention. There is practically a tiny bit of lake access. The really SAD part is there seem to be a very friendly grounds keeper and that super nice front desk lady that gave GOOD customer service, if the owners would stay "behind-the-scenes" we would have had a nice stay. We did stay the other 3 days (and yes no Gayle). WORD OF WARNING "DO-NOT" STAY AT THE TRIBESMAN RESORT!!!

Awsome place to stay!!!
By Sherry, 06/11/07
We stayed at the Tribesman on may 31- june 4 2007. We really enoyed it. The cabin was a 2 bedroom very roomy & comfortable. When we arrived the room was so nice & cool!! It was nice to have a kitchen, we grilled out alot which was nice family time. The staff was awsome. very friendly & helpful. There was alot for the kids to do as well. Very nice clean pools along with hot tubs. they have differant activities for the kids each day of the week. They also have free laundry rooms which was very nice. It is close to town but out of the way of all the noise & traffic. If you are looking to get away and relax then this is for you, when you get ready to see some shows, shopping, etc.. the drive is short. We plan on returning again yearly with our children (11 &15) they both really enjoyed it as well. I really just cannt say enough good about The Tribesman. It is just a beautiful place to go for some relaxing family time. This is Highly recomended! Thank you Tribesman for some wonderful memories. God Bless~~~ :)

Family Fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/04/07
We especially enjoyed the newly opened 4 bedroom 4 bath units. They are only $263 a night during the summer and $197 nightly during the off season. THey are nicely furnished and have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy with your extended family. We had plenty of room for all 8 of us. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs which was great for my elderly grandmother. We have been staying here every year for the past 6 years and will continue.

A Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/06
We took our 2 small grandchildren and had a ball at the Tribesman. It is a close to everything, but far enough away to keep out of the traffic and congestion of the strip. The owners and staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Tribeman.

Ideal for Family Reunions
By Digital Pioneer, 06/06/06
We stayed here 6 years ago and I just now saw you could rate it. WOW, all the activities planned for the whole family! I think the large group of kids we brought had some sort of activity every day. We all loved it. We had 6 units, mostly the larges ones that sleep 14. Got a surprise "break on the bill" at check-out, and they mailed us a package of all the items left behind in the 6 units. I thought that was way "above and beyond"!!! I think that some of the smaller units were older, but the large ones we stayed in were quite new and very nice. Dishwashers and washers and dryers are in those units and you usually only get that in more expensive resorts. Good time and good value. Kids came home with all kinds of trinkets (indian souvenirs) that were prizes in the contests held by the resort. They still have some of them. I think we actually stayed here in 2000, but it would not let me put in a date that old. :)

ALWAYS A NICE TIME
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
We are residents of Harrison, Ar.. So we come up to Branson for long weekends often. The Tribesman Resort is a nice place for families and couples. It's location is nice and close to town without being in it. The resort isn't new but its well kept. (some units may be new ?) We enjoy the extensive grounds and the pools. Having a private resort marina on Table Rock Lake is a hugh plus. Most of their units don't have lake views because of trees, which keep it shady. But, the docks are just down the hill. Internet wasn't so great but they said they will have 2 broadband hotspots free to guests for 2006. Some advice: get out on Table Rock Lake, then go take in a show, shop, shop, shop, then relax, get back out on the lake again and don't miss Silver Dollar City...

Nice Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/06
We enjoyed the setting and units at the Tribesman Resort. The cottages are not new but well kept. I understand they are building some new ones as well. They didn't have a good internet hook up when we were there but they said they were putting in 2 hotspots for 2006. The lake (Table Rock Lake) is beautiful. You can't see the lake from most units; but, they have marinas and you can walk down to it. They have left the trees up all around, so the setting is very pleasant. The kids loved the whole place indoor pool, trails and all.
