The Beach Haus Resort, Traverse City

This is an older resort but it is very well maintained. We had a room on the second floor-- it was very clean and plenty of room for two people. A larger television and a towel rack next to the tub would have been nice but like I said, it is an older resort. The resort's overall charm made up for the towel rack. We loved that it was smaller and more quaint than some of the newer and larger resorts. It has grass and trees on its private sandy beach which is nice if you get tired of the sand. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.

This is a place to enjoy the view, rest ,read and enjoy being in the world. Grea place for families who enjoy the beach and beach activites.

The cleanliness was great. The view out back was awesome. However, in our suite, there was only 1 chair with 2 of us staying there and although this place has free internet access, there was no desk or table to put our computer on. Although the view is awesome, I think we will find a place that is a bit more comfortable the next time we visit Traverse City, and yes we do plan to.

nice place very impressive nice view and love the breakfast. The beach is clean, although the day we arrived weather is not perfect, a bit cloudy, but we definitely love the hotel

The Beach Haus was very clean had wonderful service. You could tell that they take pride in working at the Beach haus. It was awesome

Where do you get the rate of 70 dollars? That has not been the rate when we have stayed there and what the website says..Tell us how to get it for that amount please!

Beautiful beach...well maintained lawn and outside siting area. Interior was nice, quiet and offering a balcony for a nice bay view. Staff appeared helpful and courteous. I would stay there again!

My family and I returned to the Beach Haus Resort on a recent visit to Traverse City, Michigan. What a gem! We've been there on two other occasions in recent years and we loved the new changes! The non-smoking policy (except for the designated smoking area) really makes sense. The Resort is so clean and the staff is so very helpful. You and your family will love the beach there too - it truly is the best beach in TC. (we've looked at many!) We appreciate the relaxing atmosphere of the motel too, very calm and peaceful. A great place to relax and unwind. We saw a couple of negative comments about the new direction and had to write - we love the changes! Keep it up!

Been going to the Beach Haus for `14 years. It does have the most beautiful beach on the bay. Just got back from our yearly trip and I will have to say you can notice the changes since the original owner died this past winter. They switched to a non smoking environment which is fine, but they put the smoking area right next to the picnic and grill area. Had to cook the food and then eat in the room to be away from the smokers. If you are a regular guest at the Beach Haus you will definitely notice the changes. Too bad, it used to be the best

Loved the charm and setup of this property. The grassy and beach areas are fantastic. Wonderful for families and people just wanting to relax. The rooms were very clean, however need some serious updating. Once you were outside though you tend to forget about the room status. They need to work on the breakfast as well, not too great. I spoke with a gentleman who said that he had been coming there for 20 years. He stated that unfortunately, since the original owner passed away things are not kept up as they used to be. Overall, wonderful stay. I would definately come back here again. Beautiful property, best on the beach!
