Breakers on the Bay Resort, Port Austin

This place has two things going for it. One is the view of the lake. The other is the resturant. The owners have placed their money on the restaurant and are taking whatever they can get from the motel without doing any maintenance or updating. The words that come to mind are used up and worn out. My advice is to stay someplace else.

There was very little to recommend about this hotel, aside from the location. The room had a hint of mildew to it and the linens were worn. The restaurant there is ridiculously priced for what you get, main entree looked more like it came from a pouch than from a kitchen. Never have stayed at a "resort" that had a mandatory number of nights you needed to stay. Will stay in Bad Axe next time and take the time to drive to the lakeshore.

restraurant was very good.Service was good. I was quite dissapointed in tbe room for the price. It was very musty smelling and the beds seemed old and very uncomfortable!
