Colonial Inn, Jackson

This is bad from the start. Parking lot overgrown and bad. Some buildings have all the doors and windows boarded up. Inside the room phone does not work, box spring material torn all the way around. Trash bags are from Kmart. Carpet gross, toilet gross, furnture is falling apart. Has some kind of electric issues lights don't always come on, it might be the TV that turns on. It appears that people live her full time.

We stayed here for a little league tournament and could not believe how bad it was. We were a little hesitant about staying here because of all the bad reviews, but there was nothing else available. Trust me, the rviews are right. Next time I would stay in my car rather than stay here. Go to Lansing or Ann Arbor if you have to. I have to admit though, the pool water looked clean. They must have just filled it because it was the only clean thing on the property.

One word..DISGUSTING!!! I HAVE TO WRITE 25 CHARECTORS OR MORE TO SUBMIT. I WILL DO MY BEST. TERRIBLE, AWFULL, SICKNING, SMELLY, BARNYARD SMELL, SCARY,DIRTY,NOTHING WORKS, HELP IS SCARY AND RUDE. CLOSE THIS JUNK YARD DOWN.

This place was the most distgusting hotel I have EVER seen. Not even in movies have I seen something this bad. The carpet was not vacuumed, cigarette burns in bed sheets, smelled of urine, and yellow stains covered the recliners in the room.. They put us in the room next to the bar, with loud music and yelling. I was afraid to sit down in there it was so dirty. We drove 500 miles to see the Nascar race to find this. We stayed only long enough to call and get another room across town. There were prostitutes outside this place (which is located beside a truck stop). I am calling the MISpeedway and asking them to please remove this hotel from there booklet. I would not put my worst enemy in this bacteria infested place. I am sure no one stays there unless they pay by the hour......if you know what I mean. The board of health needs to shut this hell hole down!
