Prestige Inn West Lafayette, West Lafayette

I stayed here about 3 years ago, and it needed work. A lot of improvements have been made - comfortable bed, large tv that worked, ice machine worked, coffee pot & coffee in the room. The room was clean & inviting, best of all the bedside lamp was bright enough to read by. Definite value for the budget conscious.

My wife and I needed to stay at a hotel for a few days until our heating was done. Prestige Inn had excellent service and we were really appreciative of the service we received. My wife and I would definitely reccommend this hotel for anyone.

Just needed a place to sleep for one night and this was perfect. It was clean, comfortable bed, hot water, nice shower. Quick and easy check in, gentleman at desk was pleasant. Best price in town. If you need a hair dryer or clock, take your own. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.

The room was very clean, . AC worked well. TV functioned well. Free wireless INTERNET. Within short driving distance to Purdue campus. Quiet location. Family owned, and they were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

I never felt good about this place from the day I reserved the room. I walk in to check in, and the hotel manager walks from his "office" with no shoes on. Has me fill out all my personal information, and then takes my money for the room.... 53$. He gets my room card ready and points me in the direction of the room. I drive back, grab all my luggage from my car, and open the hotel room....The bed wasn't made, the sheets were comming off the mattress, the trash hadn't been taken out, there was rusted water in the sink, the shower was dirty, and worst of all, THERE WAS A DIRTY SOCK LAYING ON THE TELEPHONE!!!!! This was by far the worst motel experience I had ever had. I went back to the lobby, asked for my money back and left.

I felt as if this motel should have been rented by the hour if it already isn't. A large bug crawled out of the sink while I was brushing my teeth. No shampoo in the room and the key would only work after 10-20 swipes. Beds were like cots. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I stayed here somewhat long-term during a transition to a new job in the area. I stayed there probably about a month. Very friendly staff, and the private outside entrance to the room eliminates the usual noise you get with a typical motel. I would definately stay here again. - Bill
