Days Inn Arkadelphia, Arkadelphia

My husband and I stayed there because of a family reunion and some of my classmates were having a get together. We booked the handicapped accessible room and was very disappointed. When we first walked into the room, the bathroom floor had 2 roaches on it and they were still moving so I stepped on them. I didn't have time to find another room that night somewhere else or I would have but we were meeting friends. We tried to find something else the next day but they were sold out in Hot Springs The bathroom is not handicapped accessibleat all. It has a shower/bathtub in it but no shower chair or seat for you to sit on. My husband can not walk and has to have something to sit on in the shower. I had to lift and tug on him to get him out of there. He fell off the tiolet 5 times because the tiolet paper was behind the tiolet not beside. This was very hard on both of us. We have stayed in alot of motels, like the Baymont and Holiday Inns and we have never had this much trouble. We had planned on staying to nights but with the bugs and it not being handicapped accessible we had to cut our visit short.

The owners and staff were super nice and made you feel like you were at home. I have not stayed in a room this clean in a long time. Great place and value to stay on the way to your vacation. Can not wait to go back.

We got to the hotel around 1:00 pm.We checked in and went and turned on the air and left and went to the lake. Got back to the room around 7:00 and the AC was not working. I called the front desk and she told me to turn if off for little and it would start working again. She said we should not leave the air on. Its only 99 degree outside. We ask for our money back and they said they could not we had to go thru the manager. But could not get him to answer.

Everything was just perfect. Extremely clean and well cared for. There was 4 pillows on each bed. The grounds were clean. This was a very convenient location and was easy to get in and out of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be going back regularly. It makes a nice escape for a weekend.They gave us great rates too.
