Road King Inn, Grand Forks

I liked this place because there was friendly staff, a nice breakfest area, clean rooms and balconies. However, I was upset with a few things such as the light didn't work in the balcony, the "kiddie" pool was not working, 2 hottubs were not working. Another thing that happened were that the road king inn has benches in the pool area; there was 2 beetles crawling behind them. It was also terrible that people were leaving drinks around the pool area; the staff didn't even clean these up. I would like to go back and then I would not like to come back.

I liked the hot tubs it was nice and clean water and the breakfest area and the pool area was nice and clean this hotel was the best i have ever stayed in grand forks. And the rooms were nice and clean and i liked the baclony looking down in the pool area.

The customer service at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. They are very unprofessional and rude at the front desk. The staff is also very unaccomodating for groups of people, and we were treated horribly. We were also awoken at 4:30am by fire alarms that were not turned off for a very long time, and continued to go off randomly for the next 2 hours. We had lukewarm-cold showers one of the mornings. The cleanliness of the hotel was less than desireable in the main areas as well as the rooms. The pool area was also not very clean and the hottubs were not working properly. There are much nicer and friendlier hotels in Grand Forks to stay at than this one!! (I only gave service and cleanliness a star because there was no option available to leave it blank!)

I was very disappointed with the staff and management.We stayed there this past weekend and I forgot something.I called as soon as i got home and realized it was missing.They told me it wasnt there.I know for a fact i left it in my room.I called to talk to manager,He implied that i lost in on way out of hotel.both my husband and I did not pack this item which was worth 200.00(movies).They would not accept that an employee could take something from the room.we will not stay there again

The location is perfect for us. We have stayed at the Road King Inn Grand Forks about 6 times now, and have recommended it, quite successfully I might add to several friends who have been as pleased by the amenities, staff, decor, location etc as we are. This hotel offers good value for your $$. We had previously stayed at different hotels, for more money and they were all let downs. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Over the last few years we have always stayed at the Road King. I have found the staff most accomadating, pleasant and helpfull. Rooms were clean, pool area quit. Its like anywere else, treat someone with respect and you will receive it!! Going there again tommorow!!

Had some issues with the hotel and the staff did nothing to try to correct the problem, if anything they wanted nothing to do with the problems or trying to take care of our concerns.

One of the hot tubs had gross stuff floating in it and one of the other ones was too hot to use. There were no pool towels so we used our room towels and when I went to the front desk to get more we were unable to get more. That was Friday night. Saturday morning I went back to the front desk to ask for some I was told that there were none and that they were in the laundry (that's what I was told the night before). The staff didn't seem to care and when I called the manager the next week to complain he offered me a complinetary nights stay. Three week go by and I recieve nothing in the mail so I call him again and he says that they didn't have my postal code and he'll send it out right away. That was 4 week ago and I still haven't rec'd anything. Given nothing but the run around from the staff and the manager!

the beds are small amd uncomfortable and needs new pillows. the bathrooms are to small and the tub had rust marks or cigeratte burns on it.

Great pool area! The toddler pool is nice and warm -- great for kids who dislike cold pools!
