Thomas Shepherd Inn, Shepherdstown

Stayed at the Inn for our anniversary in December. I really liked the place. The original wide WV. pine flooring everywhere gave a warm glow and heat was comming out of the old radiators like a spa treatment - super cozy. No TV or phone noise. Just a great old house where after dinner we settled into reading. Bed was firm and comfortable. Dinner down the street in one of the restaurants was one of our top 5 best ever. I'm not a big breakfast person, but the food at the inn was sort of fancy and pretty good if you like that at breakfast. Not sure the anniversary room was worth the extra dough. Other rooms sort of looked more my speed (male). But, if you like Trois this room is for you.
