Bob Pascal's St Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina & Spa, St Michaels

My husband and I had a romantic weekend at Harbour Inn and absolutely fell in love. The room had a great view, wonderful decor and was spotless. We had a wonderful meal prepared by Chef Hayes and the servers were exceptional. I love the Inn's proximity to downtown St Michaels. We were able to walk to the local shops and the Inn also had a shuttle service in case the weather didn't cooperate. From the time we arrived up until the time we left we felt like we treated exceptionally. I am looking forward to our next stay there!

Some girl friends and I went here for a relaxing weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. The location is great for walking into town, hotel and town both picturesque. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfy and clean and opened onto the water/docks—creating a relaxing atmosphere, pefect to sit back with a glass of wine. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel, all reasonably priced and food was fantastic. We also visited their spa, nice staff, zen like atmosphere and the spa has some great price packages. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely go back again!

When looking for a place to hold our annual retreat for the Chesapeake Mom's Club we searched many places in the area and then found this one. I can't say enough about how wonderful everything was! The inn did a luncheon for us and then a dinner and the food at both was incredible. All of our rooms were spacious, lovely, very clean and had the most beautiful views of the harbor. The service was wonderful and the entire weekend ran seemlessly. Many of us used the spa services and were very pleased. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful and memorable experience. We are planning our retreat here again for this coming spring and really looking forward to it! I would and have recommended Bob Pascal's St. Michaels Harbour Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the wonderful town of St. Michaels!

My wife and I had the Thanksgiving buffet and it was horrible. Turkey was cold and dry, roast beef tasteless, ham cold and dry. And they put the "rock" in baked rockfish. Tasteless, way overcooked and cold and dry The table next to us sat dirty and un-bussed throughout our meal - very unpleasant. The deserts were all purchased somewhere, way too sweet and the coffee was sour. Did I mention that there were no salad plates and no cups for the soup. We had ask for them to wait until they found some in the kitchen.

As a busy trial attorney in the Baltimore/Annapolis area, I find it very difficult to schedule vacations to exotic locations for any extended period of time. St. Michaels Harbour Inn Marina & Spa offers me the perfect weekend getaway to relax and escape. I frequent the Inn for their delicious food, beautiful waterfront scenery, clean comfortable rooms, pool, spoiling service and unique packages (hunting expeditions, local beer and wine tastings, holiday specials etc.). Once you arrive in the quaint little town of St. Michaels, you completely forget that you are just an hour and a half from the bustle of city life. Trust me this is the absolute perfect place to spend a romantic weekend with your significant other, to get away and spend some time by yourself, or to pack up the family and friends for some fun in the sun!

Called to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (with 7 days notice) and was told that there would be a $25 cancellation fee. I inquired as to why it costs $25 to simply cancel a reservation and was told, "That's the way we do it." I was not informed of a cancellation fee when I booked. I told the clerk I was very disappointed and would never do business with them again. Why steal money? It makes your business look sub-par. There are so many beautiful B&Bs in St. Michaels to stay that are so much nicer with better rates (and includes breakfast). These guys are CROOKS!!!

The food was terrible and the service mediocre. The rooms are nothing special - leaving no particluar reason to stay at this Inn. St Michaels offers many pleasant alternatives for great food and nicer lodging.

We just returned from a 4th of July stay and it was not worth the rate. We paid nearly $300 for one night.The staff was surly and rude, and the room was small and shabby. We had booked a balcony room and the furniture there was resin, $6.00 each chairs! We inadvertantly did not take our coupon (1/2 off an entree) that we were given at check-in to the restaurant where we had a mediocre meal and inattentive service. We put the meal on our credit card, and later realized that we were entitled to a discount, but did not worry. We thought it would be credited the next day. Didn't happen.No one would even try. The restaurant said they couldn't run our charge through again, and the main desk person "passed the buck" to the restaurant. There was no effort to try to accomodate us. We will never go back. The only thing this place has is the location. We can't imagine anyone returning for "round two" of ignore the guests.

It was probably nice in the 80's. Too bad they haven't cleaned or redecorated since. My wife and I wanted a nice getaway...we're sorry we picked this place. We booked 3 nights but, after seeing the room, we tried to cancel the remaining two - no such luck. There are too many other better options in St. M. Avoid this place.

The building was in disrepair, the service was tardy, I was overbilled on the way out, the list goes on. Very disappointed. Would be a good deal at half the price.
