Adams Ocean Front Resort, Dewey Beach

Adams has a great location and the villas and pool area are clean. However, it is "party central" on the weekends. My family and I were awoken to loud partygoers every Fri & Sat night we were there...usually around 2am after the bars close and the partygoers head back to their rooms. Before booking our reservation, we were told on the phone that this was a "family resort" and loud partying was not tolerated...guess we spoke to the wrong person!!

When we called to make our reservation, we asked if the ocean front room had a balcony and were told yes it did. Well, I guess technically you could call the walkway to all the rooms a balcony, but it certainly was misleading. If the person on the phone had said it was a walkway with chairs up against the wall, we would not have booked the room. We were picturing a small private balcony and were very disappointed in the room.

I love this place! Every year our family of five comes and stays at the hotel. It is a beautiful area and every morning I come out of our lush hotel and smell the great ocean air. And when we don't feel like swimming in the ocean, we can go to a private pool just for residents of the hotel! Every year I look forward to coming here! It is worth the 4 hour ride! I will never get tired of it!

The villas are great! They are big, clean, and right on the beach. The location is great for bars and restaurants. I went for college senior week and all my friends were jealous! My friends and I plan on coming back every year for a reunion at Adam's.

we love staying there. great location on the beach with great amenities. pool is good for kids, parking good, decks, washier/dryers a huge plus!
