Days Inn Orange City Deland, Orange City

1st the advertised $60 a night but when I arrived none of the $60 rooms were availble and I had to take a $95 room- well let me tell you about the $95 room & u can imagine the $60 room. First of all shady people in n out all night-in the rooms on either side of me one must of been rented by a pimp because I saw same girl w/ 3 different men use the room before 9pm for less then 45minutes each time (she is fast) then i saw 2 other girls w/ guys use the room by 11 pm the other side of me had guests - all night long staying less then 5 minutes each- like a revolving door HELLO DRUG DEALER!!!! the room smelled _was dirty moldy and as CBS advised I pulled back fitted sheet n found bed bugs and hairs in the bed towels were damp as if they were used 10minutes b4 I got their Deland Police should just sit their on a sunday night.!!!! I couldn't get my $ back or another room so I slept in my car in their parking lot w/ doors locked and alarm on- yes it was that bad. I had a fight w/ my husband n thought Days Inn well known respectable hotel - I will tell everyone I know and never step foot on one of their properties again!!!!!!!!!

I travel a lot and this is absolutely the WORST hotel that i have EVER stayed in. You get what you pay for, but staying here was truly a nightmare. Turned out that my room was infested with bed bugs!!! I had them move me to a new room in a different building, where i was still terrified to fall asleep in the bed. That reason alone is enough to make anyone not stay here. But the internet also does not work. It disconnects you every 2 minutes. There was hardly any hot water. The fridge has no settings and keeps everything just about room temperature. The key cards don't work right, so it takes you 10 minutes to get into the room. The rooms smell musty and just seem generally dirty. The people that hang around here are sketchy as well. But again, there are bedbugs in one of the buildings, so that is reason enough to STAY AWAY!!!

What I liked about the place everyone seem friendly. The first room had little black bugs, carpet wasn't clean, we kept shoes on until we went to bed. Saturday when we came back from our training, we had been moved to another room, we were told the room flooded, cause by something housekeeping did. The other room the air was not working, management put fans in the room. After the sun went down the room did cool off. I will not be staying there again. the rooms we were in were in much needed repair.

After they gave me nightly price I went out to car to get wallet, come back into different front desk person who insists price is now $15 higher than 2min ago. A little haggling they come back to original price. I should have known by then to leave, but no, it got much worse. Was scared to use bathroom as grime in tub, towels did not appear clean. Toilet had mold in it. The two pillows on bed had to be 20 years old and no more than 1/2" thick. Pull back bed sheets and bed is filthy complete with giant 3 foot diam. wet spot! This would scar the more faint of heart I believe... They didn't want to let me change rooms so I had to argue just to get my money back so I could run away from the place. Got my money back only when another customer came into office. If staying in the area much better hotels near orange city/deltona I-4 area, or in downtown deland/speedway blvd area.
