Park Place Motel, Cedar Key

As a native Floridian, Cedar Key is so much like the Florida I grew up with. Born in 1939 in Broward County, I have fond memories of what it "use to be", long before it became a 3rd. world country. Cedar Key lets me go back to those great years of the '50's, neighbors who knew each other, cracker houses, youth centers, pristine beaches with no high rise hotels and the greatest weather in the world, we didn't have air conditioning nor heaters, we didn't need them, in the summer you raised the windows, wintertime, you lowered them. Cedar Key IS Old Florida!

We only stayed one night but the room was spacious and had a kitchenette. The location was right across from the public beach and had a wonderful view from the balcony. Would stay again for sure.

Loved Park Place and wonderful room 121. Its on the first floor so very easy access, no stairs and wrap around windows looking out at the park and the beach. The staff is great too. We rented bikes one day and then a golf cart......never had to use the car. We'll be back.

Very good prices,very clean, very friendly staff... Does NOT have pool, but is across from the public beach, which has been relandscaped in the last several years. Great weekly deals (7 days for $60-65 per night) - we got two condos for less than we usually spend in Crescent/Daytona for one condo - Sleeps up to EIGHT people total. Great for "family time", without all the hassles (traffic, drinking college kids, etc.) of Daytona or Crescent. Small, friendly town, with just enough to keep the kids busy (dock fishing, beach, golf cart rentals) so that we, as parents, feel comfortable with our children having a little more freedom than we would allow at Crescent/Daytona. We are native Floridians (43 year old) and have spent our entire life visiting Cedar Key, and this place is simply the best value I have found in this great little city.

Park Place was wonderful. The condos are very beautiful and comfortable. We stayed the first week of April in room 211 and had a wonderful corner room and balcony. Park place has everything anyone could want for a perfect anniversary vacation. It was like a second honeymoon. The staff here is excellent. One could not ask for better. We will definately be back. Maybe in the fall next time. The weather was perfect the entire time we were there, and strolling along the pier and 2nd st. was unforgettable. Joy & Richard Jenkins Sabine & Roy Lyons

We spent two nights in March 07 at Park Place. The location is very convienient. Beautiful relaxing view from the balcony. Cant wait to return.

Clean room, great view. Great staff.Nice king bed,nice Kitchen. Nice everything. Within walking distance of everything. Best of all the area is laid back and quiet, unlike Orlando. We'll be back.

I have stayed at Park Place in unit 330 four different times. It isn't extravagant but very nice for a sleepy fishing village. It is located in walking distance of everything. The staff is wonderful and accomadating. Couldn't have had a better time.

The staff are the friendliest.. We have been there twice and plan on returning again this year.. really enjoy the private balcony. enjoy the quietness of the town, and the fishing...

The service was outstanding! The price is very reasonable. We never got back into our car the entire time we stayed there.Everything is right in walking distance. The beach is right across the street. We will definitely be back, every year!
