TEAR IT DOWN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/31/11
To simply put it "A DUMP" Entrance filthy, hallway filty with carpet that stunk, every glass door I passed through was finger print laden with grime on the edge, internet could not reach my room bad for business man! The room was dirty, sheets thrown on the bed...not ironed or pressed completely wrinkled. Every receptacle was worn non of my plug stayed in had to use painter tape to hold them in. The receptacle behind the refrig & microwave dangled in the wall. The micro wave looked like it was beat by a bat. The tub edges had cigarette burns. The sink was nasty. The spigot was turned off so I had to turn them on. No way was I going to eat in that place considering how nasty the entire hotel was. The dumpster was outside my room and it stunk. The only cure for this hotel is a D-9 Cat bullsdozeer on one end...take it down. What a dump!

not bad, but would probably stay elsewhere
By healthknutt, 3/27/10
The hotel itself is okay, not the cleanest but fine for a night or 2. The location is not great, but still only about a 15 minute drive from downtown. We found the staff friendly. Breakfast was alright but the breakfast room is small and crowded. All in all, for the $100 or so savings vs. staying right downtown, not a bad option, but I think next time I would opt to stay closer to the city.

A good value for the money
By JamesG, 6/26/09
This is one of the cheaper hotels found in the boston area ($99/night). Actually, when I was searching, this hotel was the cheapest/closest I could find to the center of Boston. I was there for a period of 5 days, and the 6 miles from the hotel to my conference site was manageable due to the bi-hourly shuttle to the JFK/Umass subway station. Service was good and combined with the expansive continental breakfast, I'd say this hotel is overall a good deal, especially considering the several hundred dollar I saved over staying elsewhere (closer the downtown Boston). Cleanliness was pretty good. The only downside, which I've already mentioned in the distance from the downtown area. However, if you expect to be in Boston the whole day, the commute is not such a large problem. To give a comparison, I'd chose this hotel almost hands down over the Howard Johnson that I stayed in last year near Fenway Park. That hotel had no continental breakfast and was simply not as nice as the Ramada Inn. The only thing it had going for it was location.

Fantastic Value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/21/09
We stayed in Ramada Inn for four nights recently and found it fantastic value, the rooms were spotless with fresh linen and towels, great breakfast, free parking and very convient to Boston Centre. We would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend it to my friends. We booked on line and didnt know what to expect but we were very pleased.

Cold, hot, crowded
By MeInCt, 2/22/08
The service was great. My son was sick upon arrival & they allowed us to check in 3 hours early. The room, however, was on the 1st floor by the pool and FREEZING, as was the hallway. The thermostat worked intermittently and then stopped working altogether. The room was tin and had too much bulky furniture. I guess I might stay here again, but not by the pool in winter. And I'd definitely check out the room before I agreed to sleep in it for 2 nights!

Ramada-Boston
By Kevin, 11/21/07
Good price. Our shuttle driver brought us to our desired location in downtown Boston for a night out on the town. It was only $15 by taxi to get back. However, the shuttle service runs until 11:45pm if you don't close the bars. The breakfast was more than expected in offerings and free. Slept-in a bit passed check-out (noon) and no problems with that. The restaurant next door is a fairly classy joint with a full service bar. Recommended.

Glad I choosed this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/30/07
The employess were very friendly. Shuttle service was provided to the airport, subway and convention center. A good hot breakfast was available each morning. All of this for a great rate. Plus, the location was close to everything. As I said in the title. I was so glad I choose the Ramada Boston.

World class shuttle service and friendly forthcoming personal!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/8/07
Friendly, forthcoming and hardworking staff is the key to Ramada’s success. We enjoyed 5 nights at the Ramada Boston Hotel. The hotel is designed for a “home base”. We were exploring Boston everyday and on return we found a relaxing surroundings waiting for us. Shuttle service is the best I ever saw. We had an incident were our 12 month old daughter had to go the hospital, this to was possible with shuttle service. Don’t forget to tip these guys, they are very flexible as it already is. ...Breakfast from 06:00 – 10:00 complements either early departure or late night arrival the day before. Kolind, Denmark

AWFUL EXPERIENCE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/15/07
I've been to Ramada Inn Boston last week and the people at the front desk, well.... I want to be generous to define them just unpolite. I think the personnel should learn how to manage guests, probably they should go to attend a lesson of politeness. I want to save just the housekeeping, that's very good and the room cleanliness is above average. The hotel itself is a ugly building and quite uncomfortable. Breakfast room is too small and sometimes you need to wait until somebody leave the table to be sit down. Wi-Fi connection sometimes works but most of the times doesn't or connection is really weak. Shuttle drivers are very kind but everytime you need to go to Boston you must use the courtesy shuttle to the subway station and then you can reach the city centre. Same for the way back.

Price is Right but Noisy
By Juanito, 5/7/07
I have stayed here a couple of times. I am a govt contractor and this property is on the North side of the Naponset River subject to higher per diems, say than the BW Adams south of the river. Pluses include the continental breakfast and good staff and lobby service. Minuses include rooms that need remodeling and have a dusty quality (no lice noted, however). Also noise from the street is tough. On the east side of property are the 18-wheelers on extremely nearby I-93 that shake you out of bed from 4 am on. On the west side, to my chagrin during a later visit are T lines that start periodically clattering after 5 am. I-93 on and off access are a little difficult, but access to and from Quincy is easy. I like the place in spite of the racket. It is a quick trip via T or auto to downtown beantown. Beware of parking garages near Quincy Market ($30 for the evening!). Center Plaza and Somerset on Somerset St are $10 & $7 respectively in evening and CP parking can be validated for free at Kinsales Pub (good irish fare) if you spend $20 on food or ale. If taking the T, go to Quincy rather than Dorchester Stops for safety. Shuttle will deliver you to T.
