Cameron Estate Inn, Mt Joy

There aren't a ton of options when one needs a place to stay for ONE night in the Mount Joy area. Pretty few hotels-or basically NO hotels-at least in Mount Joy and the local B&B's typically require a two night minimum stay (or are decorated in top to bottom farm animal theme-sorry, can't sleep in that!) After much searching, I booked a room at the Cameron. It's an attractive, large house that was once part of the Elizabethtown College very casula and comfortable. We stayed in the Four Seasons Suite. Two comfortable bedrooms with a shared bath. It seemed pretty quiet there for a Saturday night. One of the best part of the stay was the breakfast. It was VERY good, apple cinnamon pancakes, potatoes provencale, candied bacon, fresh fruits, coffee and juice-made a great start to my Sunday morning. Just Agreat Place and an unexpected find

We stayed at Cameron Estate for a wedding, with the church service locally in Mount Joy and the Reception at Cameron Estate. We had a lovely room, air conditioned (which was great given how hot it was) with great views of the grounds. The room was large and airy, with a wonderfully comfortable four-poster bed. Delightful! Breakfasts were hearty and set us up for the days we were there. The grounds were great for a romantic stroll and a lovely way of relaxing together, walking around near the little brook and between the trees. Service was everything we expected, very friendly and welcoming. All in all a great way to celebrate our friends' wedding!

We just had our wedding at the Cameron Estate Inn. The place is gorgeous and the event was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer and so accommodating. From the first encounter to the special touches at the morning after breakfast, I could not have asked for more. The staff is so up-front about everything and their professionalism was a welcomed relief. The event went off without any problems and the food, decorations and staff were wonderful. They truly made our wedding “One enchanting Evening”

THe Inn is so quiet and the grounds enchanting. The rooms are well appointed with antiques but you do not feel like you are in a museum. The restaurant is one of the best we have been to and the breakfast great. Go and Enjoy

We had an amazing wedding at the Cameron Estate Inn. Not only is the location gorgeous, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our planner took care of us from the moment we looked at the venue, with booking them and with all the planning through the wedding day. Everyone was so helpful every step of the way. On the actual day, the entire staff went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. The food is also fabulous and we highly recommend it.

I loved Cameron Estate Inn from the moment I looked at their web site. The location is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is excellent. That's not to mention the fact that the cost is very reasonable and the team thinks of everything. They didn't ask me one thing on my wedding day and everything was handled. Even though we had bad weather, they took care of everything to the tiniest detail. I would recommend them again and again.

I know it may be early in the year, but we just had our wedding at the Cameron and the staff made our wedding so special. We could have gone elsewhere but ar so pleased we chose the Inn. Evrthing went off like clockwork and everyone raved about the food and the venue. Thanks for making this our special day

We had a great time at the inn. I guess the other poster was looking for something bad so they found it. The Staff is great and very helpful, the inn is quiet and we enjoyed our fireplace. The breakfast was great and the restaurant is one we will remember. It is interesting that a poster can hide behind a screen name and say anything they want sine there is no accountabilty. We just returned from a weekend at the Cameron Estate Inn and thourougly enjoyed our stay. The room was great and had a fireplace for us to use, very romantic. The restaurant was an added treat and hte food expertly prepared. The breakfast was well though out an definitley gourmet

We just celebrated Valentine's Day weekend at the Cameron Estate Inn and just loved it. The Mansion is very historic and in an ideal location. The rooms are welkl furnished and though there are antiques you feel at home. The restaurant is one of the best we have ever been to and we would highly recommend this to anyoone
