Quality Inn Media, Media

We just stayed at this hotel for one night and should have chosen another. I knew things would not go smoothly when we entered the room and found the bathtub dirty with hair in it. We called the front desk to have them clean it, which they reluctantly did. Upon waking and taking a shower the next morning my family was met with a clogged tub! 2 other people had to take showers and we needed to leave by 7am. We called the front desk at 6am and again reluctantly they sent someone up to siphon the water out of the tub. Needless to say management had to open another room for the rest of my family to get showers!!! Plus they offered nothing off the bill for our inconvience. I will NOT stay at this hotel and will NOT recommend them for future travel. What I will recommend is management getting their act together and taking care of their customers better.

We were looking for a hotel in Media Pa and there were not a lot of choices. Despite reading some poor reviews, we chose to stay at the Express Inn/McIntosh Inn because it was so close to where we needed to be. It was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and large--include nice extras such as an ironing board, microwave and fridge. The beds were very comfy. The room was quiet. The staff was friendly. There's a complimentary breakfast of bagels,juice,fruit, coffee. We had no complaints and plan on staying there again on our next trip to Media. Also, free wifi.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am still fighting with the "management" about a charge to my credit card when I payed with a valid state hotel voucher. I have never had any trouble paying for a room with a voucher, but they gave me the run around here. It's a shame that the customer is not a priority for the folks that run this place. The room was also disapointing, a hole in the bathroom wall topped it all off.

My husband and I stay at the Express Inn twice a year while visiting family in Media. We have never had a problem. Never. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are clean. We enjoy a wide range of cable stations on the TV. There is a microwave and 'fridge in each room. The only knock on the door occurs when the cleaning crew is ready to do its job. The young men at the front desk are courteous, friendly and efficient. Plus...we get 20 percent off at the Denny's next door. The Express Inn fills a motel void along that area of Route 1. The location, the price are right for us!

Horrible, horrible place. Nasty stains on the bedding, and dirty towels in the bathroom. When we talked to the manager, he accused us of faking the problems, and threatened to put an extra 200.00 on our credit card. Nasty Horrible man, Nasty horrible hotel.

I travelled there with a group and unfortunately didn't read the bad reviews beforehand. First off, they couldnt find the reservation for one of the guests we were travelling with and after not being able to come up with an answer why, the manager all of a sudden "remembered" that she cancelled her reservation the night before. Instead of trying to accomodate the now 3 people in our group without a room he said they were lucky he didn't charge them for cancelling--which they didn't do in the first place. Check out the next day was at 11am. At 10:50 I heard a knock and then the same manager burst in my room and looked at me and acted startled and said, "oh check out is soon." I was in shock! I could have been naked and he just burst in the room. Then, when we checked out there was a woman ranting in the lobby that she discovered a peep hole in her room from a false phone jack that was lined up directly at her bed that looked in from the next room. There were also bugs in our room, and the reviews about a stench coming from the air conditioning is true as well. Please do not make the same mistake me and my party made. go somewhere else.

This was the only motel available when I was travelling at the last minute. Although I certainly would not recomend this motel to friends/family, everyone needs a place to sleep in a crunch....this is it.

the manager provided a room that was reeking with the smell of smoke. It smelled as if there had been smoke parties in the room every night for a year. The manager refused to provide another room or to give a full refund. He was arrogant. My wife and I had to find other accommodations at the last moment. This is definitely a place to stay away from.
