Motel Skandia, Myerstown

I recently visited from Texas and found this motel to be just perfect. My room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also very affordable. The setting has a very "down home" feel with lots of green grass and a beautiful old tree that provides a lot of shade. It is my hope to be able to return to this area. It is a sure thing that I will try to book a room at this motel. The owners are fabulous - very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel.

My husband and I picked this hotel from the internet, knowing nothing about it. When we first saw it, I thought "really?" ... there was nothing special about it as you drove by. We then noticed the Owned and Operated by Americans and thought "we can't go wrong." As we pulled into the driveway, neat and well groomed popped into our heads. The hotel was neat, clean and the room was very spacious. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here. The owners also steered us to a great restaurant down the road ... thank you Motel Skandia!!!

We LOVED this place. We are getting married in may and with all our out of town friends and family we will be recommending this motel to all of them. It may not look like much but the rooms are HUGE, CLEAN and the service is INCREDIBLE. We absolutly LOVE this place and cannot wait to go back again. Its also AAA rated unlike some other local hotels in the area. Trust me ... if your going to be staying in the area this is the place to book.
