Last Resort?
The NS room was clean, but it had a smoky/musty smell to it. I considered buying a candle, to help with that. Turns out, I should have. There was a power outage, lasting from 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM. No one came by to check on anyone, see if customers were OK, if anyone needed help. There was no power outage in Danville, and another poster has written that this happened when they stayed there, so, this is frequent. *Be cautious if you take meds, have an infant, or are elderly (or do not own NVG)- as it was black as PITCH at the inn.* Apparently, this is business as usual here. Not a problem, if you want a nightime adventure. Nothing was said to me when I checked out, and other places would have given a deep discount- not here.
If you like tv, they had a decent choice of cable and HBO (and I believe you could play vide games, too)- alas, with no electricity, that's moot. The bed and shower were OK, the heat/AC was working, and the toilet flushed.
If you'd like a bed and shower for the night for $100, and are a smoker- this is the place. It's s no-frills room, which is OK. The parking lot is a typical crummy PA road (watch for the deep potholes) and it looks like the grounds upkeep staff left with the Reagan administration, but things like that will cost you more. If you just want a place to crash for the night and are not looking for any ammenities- this is your place. You might want to take flashlights with you.
