Aspen Motel, Manchester Center

We have been staying at the Aspen for 25 years now. It has always been very clean and well priced. The Welshe's as well as the housekeeping staff are very friendly and welcoming We visit almost every year in the summer for a long weekend. It's a great place to stay in the winter as well. Always something to do inthe area with great restaurants nearby.

After a long day of skiing, the ski party headed down to the Aspen Motel. When we arrived, the lobby was welcoming and there was even a dog named Mile there to greet us. When we got to our room, it was more like a hotel than a motel. There was a table, two chairs, a TV with a DVD player and wi-fi. The room was still kind of old fashioned because there were Saloon Doors to the bathroom but other than that, the room had a great atmosphere. Manchester is like a little city! There are plenty of shops but the city is LOUD. Thankfully, we didn't stay in the middle, the Aspen is tucked into a little nook in the woods, away from noise but only 2 minutes to hundreds of stores. The only downside was that there were only 5 other families checked in at the time and we ended up getting stuck next to a family that got up at 6 am and was banging around in their SKI BOOTS until 7:30. This is a great motel and with a little change, it will soon be a luxurious place to stay!
