Easy location, quaint and friendly.

We were waiting to take the ferry across to NY the next day and after a long day this was home for the night. The owner was friendly and lent our daughter tennis raquettes and balls to play out back. Hotel cat was very friendly and sweet to cuddle as you check in.
The place is older and in that regard charming. We found the beds to be decent and everything clean. It's not luxury, nor would you expect luxury. It is close to food and shops and very close to the ferry. It is close to road and a bit loud in the morning but we were getting up early anyways.
I'd most likely go back, it's not the most fantastic place ever, but it is clean, fairly reasonable and convenient with friendly staff. A stop over night kind of place for us.
