A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/5/10
Wow after reading the first two review's, i feel compelled to write one My Family and I stayed at the Patio Motor Court many times and still go there it is a real treasure of a place. the placement of the cabins right in the middle of everything. Like Skiing, Snowmobiling, to all of the summer activities My Family and I have done such as, Fishing, Hiking, many of Amusement Parks we have gone to. My Extended Family has also stayed there along with many of My Friends year after year come back and have never had any sort of complaint its Beautiful up there. And for the Owners they have been nothing but extremely nice to US. They even helped us out many of times with car trouble to running out of items near midnight. THOSE PEOPLE WHO FIRST WROTE THEIR RESPONCES REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME OR ARE JUST CRABBY PEOPLE. I have never had a bad time up there even after the car breaking down we still had an incredible time every time we vacation there. AND AS FOR CLEAN THIS PLACE IS THE CLEANEST PLACE MY FRIENDS HAVE STAYED AT ALOT OF PLACES UP THERE AND THIS IS THE BEST PLACE BY FAR IN THERE OWN WORDS. Seriously I'm stunned that someone would have such a horible time there i can't imagine that its your own little treasure chest Beautiful, Just Beautiful!

Think twice about staying here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/09
We found this place bizarre. Very rude owners. Were given 1 towel and 2 washcloths for 4 people, refrig in cabin did not work and ruined all the food we had brought, owners acted like they hated people. Had been told when we called and made reservations that the cabins had everything you needed as far as a kitchenette, not even any forks when we got there. Had to make the best of it, as there were no refunds, but the place is run down. The jacuzzi they picture, not turned on. The pool, dirty. They did not come and make up the bed, sweep the floor, etc., but left a sarcastic envelope saying to be sure to leave a tip and remember that "Tippin is not a city in China." The grilling area they show in the picture, my husband went to use it, and the owner came out and yelled at him and asked him what made him think he could use it. Hello, the website. It seems like these people are in over their heads, hate what they are doing, and it makes them unpleasant to their "guests." There are a lot nicer places just as reasonable where the owners are happy to have your business, plus they don't get mad if you run out of a bar of soap after 2 days.

Think twice before going here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/09
Our whole family, 3 generations, grandparents, children, and grandchildren were going to NH for a vacation in August 2009. We were looking for housekeeping cabins with a kitchenette, as we wanted to get our breakfast and dinner at the cabins. I called and spoke to the owner of the cabins, and she told me they were housekeeping cabins, all refurbished, and that they had everything that you could possibly need as far as things to work with in the kitchen. I told her there would be 4 of us staying in each cabin, and she suggested which cabins we should stay in. When we got there, we found there were only 2 chairs in each cabin and a little tiny table with a microwave on it, so nowhere to sit and eat other than the beds. There were no forks in some of the cabins, just a mismatch of things in each one, but between all of them, we were able to come up with things to make a meal, but it was difficult. The owner (female) told me that each cabin we rented would have a roll of paper towels when we got there and we were responsible to bring more if we needed them, which I understood, but when we got there, there were no paper towels in the cabins, not enough towels (4 people were staying in each cabin and we had 1 towel and 2 washcloths in each cabin). We thought it would be no problem to go get more towels, but when we did so, the women was extremely rude. Literally had to beg for towels and tell her no, 4 of us were not going to share 2 washcloths and 1 towel. The refrigerator in one of our cabins did not work correctly and ruined all the food we stored in that frig. The grilling area that they depict and say is for guests to use, well, we thought that was true, so my husband went to start a fire and the owner came out and asked him why he thought it would be okay for him to use her grilling area. It was a very bizarre experience. We had paid for 2 nights and could not get our money back, so we tried to make the best of it. The jacuzzi they show in the pictures, not turned on, so guess it was broken. They did not come and make up our beds, sweep the floor, put in clean towels, even though we were there 2 nights, yet there was a sarcastic note written on an envelope saying to leave a tip and to remember "Tippin is not a city in China." We literally all dreaded to have to go to the office and request things such as a trash can liner (owner said they didn't have anymore) or toilet paper, as both the husband and wife were very unpleasant. Hard to figure out what the story is, but the place is pretty run down, and it seems like maybe they are stuck and in over their heads and hate what they are doing. Like I said, we just made the best of it, but I would never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. There are many, many places that are clean and neat and want and appreciate your business and you don't have to stand there and argue to get more than 1 towel for 4 people and they are willing to give you each a washcloth too. The man was nice until we paid for the cabin, then not nice at all. Not the type of experience I think most people on vacation want.

Not too bad!
By C, 8/8/08
Four of us came from Nova Scotia and stayed at the Patio for 3 nights. The cabins were clean and comfortable. The outside needs some paint and a bit of work but other wise ok. The owner was friendly upon arrival - then had a personality change. He was rude and very unhelpful once the credit card slip was signed. You have to go the office to exchange your towels, no coffee in the cabin, and even toilet paper was an issue to get. If you want clean but unfriendly, the Patio is the place to stay. The owner actually told me when I requested toilet paper "When you rent from me you rent cabin - not servie." Tourism is servie - I think he missed that part. I would never stay there again. Beware - rude, rude, and yes, rude.

Extremely Quite and Private, Meticulously Clean, Affordable, and Close to everything Too! The owners are the very nicest, pleasant and helpful people. Can not beat the personal service. Have been staying in Condo's the past 10+ years up here. Discovered the Patio last summer, and will return here every year from now on!The kids want to come back to the Patio also(never heard that about any other place). It is that good!! Best Value in New Hamphire! Michelle, Massachusetts.

It was sooo badd....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/15/08
I hated this place...it was that bad. It was disgusting, unclean, old, falling apart, and i would never ever go back. We were forced to stay one night and then we left when we orginally believed to be staying for 4 nights. There was dirt everywhere, the beds were disgusting and the bugs were everywhere. We even had a bug in our shower. The pool was unclean, and slightly green. There were NO land games, the game room consited of two games and one didnt even work. I would not reccomand going at all.

Cleaness Place to stay ever!!!!!
By dolphingrl, 2/24/08
My family and I stay at the Patio from 02/22/08 to 02/24/08, when we book we were worried because we always stay at hotels never been in a cabin like this before, when we check in we were welcome with a really friendly guy who help us on find things to do with our kids.We got inside the cabin and it was really nice, exacly how the pictures looks in the website. I'm a housekeeping manager and every time we stay in a hotel I have to Inspect everything, as I do at work before the next guest arrive,I did inspect this cabin too,I have to say that this is the cleaness place ever,I can't not say that I found nothing dirty or out of place.Very very clean cheap and nice comftable place to stay for a really nice family time.We will be back for some summer fun time .THANKS to everybody at THE PATIO.. A great place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/08
We drive every year from NY to visit the Patio. It is such a great place to take the family. The cabins are so nice, comfortable and super clean. We love swimming in the pool and playing in the game room. It is so beautiful up in the mountains, and the Patio is right in the middle of so many things. Overall, the service and value of the Patio can't be beat. We will definitely be returning there this summer. I always recommend this place to my friends and family.

Will definitely return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/9/07
The owners were very friendly. The rooms were adorable and immaculate/All new bathrooms installed, but the best was the brand new pillowtop matresses! Great for families, as the grounds were well kept, many outdoor activities provided, and even a game room & bikes for the kids. This place I highly recommend, and we can't wait to go back! Great value!
