DON\"T GO! Very dissapointed!
THE ONLY GOOD thing I have to say is the Desk Staff/Chef was VERY friendly and helpful... From outside the Inn is very charming then, you walk in the front door.... Looks like last decorated in the early 1980's. Pastel floral wall paper (ripped & worn in many places) covers most walls. Mauve floral couches with torn throw pillows. Pink carpeting, Emerald green carpeting- almost shag-like. TACKY decorating to the max! I expected charming, period decorating that would have enhanced the New England Inn experience. Instead, the Inn has been sorely robbed of all it's authenticity. Also, sheets had hairs on them (not mine). Whole inside desperately needs good scrubbing. Our room had no curtains, no sweet quilt- instead just a shade and cheesy walmart bed in a bag kind of comforter, and an old one at that. Bathroom was okay but could have been cleaner. All over the inn there were signs of shotty carpentry/workmanship. The owner Must invest some money in this place. And if they don't, then it should be advertised as an inexpensive place for college kids during ski season. This is the only clientel that won't mind the state of the inn. Oh yeah, breakfast was okay.
