Super 8 Bangor Me, Bangor

Reserved a room based on reviews that said this was clean - that's about the most important thing to us when traveling. We stood one night going from NYC to Canada. The review was spot on - very clean, friendly, good breakfast a plus. We were running late (traffic) and called ahead - they held the room, luckily, since they were sold out. I would definately stay here again. And...a great rate.

This motel was in good order and seemed to be fairly clean--front desk person was nice---he decided to charge me a pet fee of 25.00. Said my dog was spotted--well of course the dog was there--I had thought they accepted pets--nothing in ad on line indicated different--He said the sign was on the door--I told him I could'nt see the sign being 2200 miles away at the time of booking the room--anyway we had a good nights rest and will stay again if chance arises

I am giving this SUPER 8 a 3 star .I arrived with 3 girls who smoke. I do not.So we got a smoking room .We arrive from Nova Scotia Wed evening staying for 3 nights. Next morning there was a towel outside our door (which one of the girls tripped on leaving the room)I was told by front desk that the smoke was coming out the door and people were complaining. Smoking Room ,SMOKE??? Of course there is. Why rent smoking rooms next to non smoking rooms????The girls were offended with the towel matter. Nice breakfast altho the (blonde )lady replenishing the food was not aware of hospitality to the guests.Very RUDE.The other staff were very nice . The rate for the room was very reasonable .The room was good but the pillows were so flat there could have been none.They say you get what you pay for so all in all I would say they are right. By the way we are a group of 55 plus,not kids.

staff was very nice, rooms clean and with new bathroom. For a short stay this is a great place to stop.

We visited the Motel end of July08.It gives us an immense pleasure to say that the Motel was very clean and tidy.Full marks for the services and facilites.It is like a family environment.See you soon.We will be back.

This Motel is a older building but it was remodeled in the last 2 years or so.Its all new paint,carpet,bed linen a real bargain for the price.Great Continentel breakfast and the service is just great and the help goes out of their way to help.I recomend this place to anyone unless your looking for a 5 stars overpriced place. I know i will stay there again.

This motel is incredible! It even SMELLS good! The people are great and the location is close to EVERYTHING. They will even take you to the airport! They've got the BEST breakfast going in a nice cafeteria setting. (All FREE with your VERY reasonably priced room.) They were even nice enough to let me park my car there while I flew out to the West Coast for a few days. What I saved over airport parking paid for my room! I felt a little bit guilty about that, so I made it a point to come back twice just to have a night out in Bangor! When we want to go to Bangor and "play", we ALWAYS stay here. (We live on an island off the coast in Penobscot Bay.) I just cannot recommend this motel highly enough.

I found the location convienent,the rooms were availabile, the cost was affordable, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. My trip to Bangor is for shopping relaxing at nice restaurants and to stay over at a nice hotel.

nice,descent,clean rooms with excellent service.the breakfast was the best.the location was very convenient to air port and shopping malls.will be back next year.Front desk staff is very helpful,professional and well trained.

Likes: Very clean room!! Good breakfast. Very good coffee. The location of the motel was great for our trip. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here if in the area again. Dislikes: Too soft pillows.
