Juniper Hill Inn, Ogunquit

I'm watching a show about this hotel and I would NEVER stay there ......

The location is great, just a short walk to all the shops etc. They are currently remodeling some of the units and we were lucky enough to get a newly remodeled room. It was Awsome! The room was very clean. They have an indoor pool. The staff was helpful in directing us to various hot spots in the area anything from lunch places, shopping, lighthouse-you name it. They also offer breakfast in the lobby each morning. The rate are not bad and we cannot wait to book our next visit!

I picked Juniper Hill based on it's web site. That was a mistake. The "short stroll" that brings you "steps away from the beach" is actually a path that lead to a residential area. From there you can take the mile long stroll to the beach which is uphill on the way back. This isn't great is you plan on carrying chairs, a cooler, kids toys and anything more. Also, the rooms they depict are of the new hotel "area" only. These rooms are limited and if they don't have a room, they will put you in their motel. Just be sure you know what may be in store for you. You'll never know until you get there and then it's too late. Chose any of the other hotels/motels on Shore Rd. The prices are the same and you'll have a great view of the ocean which WILL be steps away.

My husband and I stayed in a regular room at the Juniper Hill Inn this past May of 2007 for our honeymoon. I grew up in Kennebunk, and have lived in Ogunquit a few times over the years, but have lived in Ohio for a while now. My husband had never been to Ogunquit, let alone New England, in his life. We picked the Juniper Hill Inn because it was reasonably priced, and a short walk to town. Our room was spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in my life. I wanted to take it with me!! Our room supplies (soaps, coffee, etc) were always replenished. The entire place was immaculate. We both had a great time, and my husband is hooked. He definitely wants to come back!

We like everything about this hotel. Have been going there for 25 years almost every weekend during the summer. The help is extra friendly and there is a great morning breakfast that is free. Location is great. Walking distance to downtown and the beach. The grounds are manicured beautifully. This is truly my favorite Hotel in Ogunquit.

The place was good. It had 2 sinks, and it was a very large room. It was a great family atmosphere as well. It wasn't in the middle of hustle & bustle, but at the same time, you could go on a 3 minute walk to the downtown area & to the beach. There were decks and places to relax out on at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Juniper Hill Inn. The friendly staff, clean room, short stroll to town, and path to the beach made it a perfect place.
