Turtle Island, Turtle Island

IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! I visited Turtle Island in 2007. I can't even begin to tell you how bad the experience was from the $6.oo bottle of wine they served to the horrible food. Perhaps at some point Turtle Island was everything they said but it certainly is not today. The staff was friendly and nice yet the service was very bad. We had to ask repeatedly for anything we wanted. It felt as if we were bothering the Bure Mama. They served the same snacks everyday. The same breakfast everyday. The so called chef is actually the island cook with no culinary experience. The garden was dead and infested with bugs. The bikes didn't work. I can go on but I think you get the picture. At the end of the trip the gave us a voucher to return for ½ the price. I would never go there again nor would I recommend anyone stay there. That is how bad it was. After our trip I told the travel agent how upset we were and how misleading the website and marketing materials are. She was shocked at what I told her. Apparently no one else has complained. Had it not been for her follow up I wouldn’t had bother either.

Oh My Gawd..I was there for a month and i can tell you thats the paradise on earth..Turtle island is a must see!!!!!!!!!!!!!u will regret if u dont go..highly recomended..

Best in the world. No doubt about that! Just go there and find out! Trust me, it's what you always wanted in a place, well for me it was.
