The Metropolitan Hotel is a stone's throw away from Dubai International Airport, and is surrounded by lush tranquil gardens. The separate Metropolitan Beach Resort is a complementary shuttle ride away with squash and tennis courts, a jacuzzi, and a well equipped gym. Nice hotel

When I worked in Saudi Arabia I stayed here along with the softball team I played for in Saudi...The ballfield was right behind the hotel, nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff...and The Red Lion Pub was the first place I tried Stilton cheese with my Ploughmans lunch..I recommend this place it isn't the nicest place probably in Dubia but was very convient for what my needs were for the softball tournament...plus the locals were very friendly as well...HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your travel plans..

Great value hotel

Stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions and going back again in Sept 2005. Not the best hotel in Dubai by any means, but probably the best value! Combines the convenience of reaching the city with the acessibility of the beach ( the sister hotel is 10 minutes away by courtesy shuttle bus). Lots of restaurants and bars at the hotel , which even has it's own multi cinema complex.Staff are very friendly and service is good. Rooms are not luxurious but very clean and comfortable.

Good hotel all in all. Room was very clean and service was good. Good choice for breakfast. Plenty of free shuttle runs to various places such as the beach, malls and airport. Also good leasure facilities including sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Useful conveinience store inside as well. Recommended for the price.
