Perfectly good enough
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/08
My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel building appears quite immpressive when you first enter and the gym is very good, but the standard of the rooms is much lower than you would expect for 5 star, espcially the bathrooms. Most staff were extrememly friendly, good humoured and knowledgable but those on reception proved quite incompetent and disappointingly unhelpful. The restaurants are very good - not amazing but more than acceptable - and the location is very convenient. Would I stay here again?.... Yes probably. Although it is below the normal standard you would expect for a five star in many countries, it is certainly worth five stars in Jordan and we had a lovely time while we were there.

Best Restaurants Evere
By Nawar, 9/25/06
I stayed in Amman for a while and I always went back to this Hotel for Food, the Mexican Restauant is amazing with the best service and most friendly staff. The Lebanese Restauarnt (Burj Al Hamam) has the best mediterranean food I have ever seen. The rooms are very clean too, I just loved this Hotel and I would recommend it for everyone.

best night of sleep ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/5/04
In the fall of 2001 my husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Intercontinetal, Amman. It was the best two nights of sleep we have ever had. The food was wonderful as well at breakfast.
The view of the limestone buildings and palm trees against the sunset was majestic and mysterious all in one.
