Mansouri Mansions Hotel, Commercial Area

The hotel was very comfortable, each room should be called a suite as they all have bedrooms, living and dining rooms, and separate fully equipped kitchens; one, two and three bedrooms for family and friends. The food is all fresh with the best steaks in Bahrain. Staff went out of their way to please. Staying at the hotel gave me access to The Country Club with racquetball, tennis, and squash courts, horse riding and a true oasis in essentially a desert island. Very relaxing.

They advertise broadband access, but rarely is the bandwidth faster than a 14.4K modem, and thats on a good day, most of the time i couldn't even get my email. Although most apartments have a kitchen, the equipment is old and tired and i would not recomeend trying to cook with their utensils, especially the pans which are cheap and naff! Hotel management is also lacking and if you are unlucky enough to get a response from a person from an eastern european country you can expect a curt response, bordering on impolite. That said, however, the remainder of the hotel staff, particularly the cleaning/room service staff are always helpful and polite.

The staff are great and accomodating, they try to make you feel at home. Henry's Cafe Bar is very friendly. Sizzlers has the best steaks and great seafood dishes. Definately recommend to stay there.

Myself & five friends are a band who were playing for the Bahrain Irish society festivities for St. Patricks day in March past. We stayed in Mansouri Mansions and really enjoyed it. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the food is great & the apts. are clean & well serviced. It is our third trip to Manama & the best accomodation yet, we hope to back in October again and enjoy another week of your excellent hospitality. Kind Regards Simon

I had breakfast at Sizzlers and it cost me ovwer 5 dinars ( US 15 ) and the food was cold,poor helpings and service substandard. The price of drinks are at Henry's are 50 percent more than other pubs in bahrain ant the easren European and Ethopian bar staff are not welcoming or friendly. It is ridiculous that the arab nationals have to pay a 3 Dinar membership charge to go and have a drink !!

I stayed at the Mansouri Mansions Hotel of three months. The Hotel staff was great and very helpful. I would stay there again. great people to deal with
