The New Midi, Geneva

The Hotel Du Midi is just a block off of the main road where the Four Seans and other big name, high dollar, hotels are. It has a botique feel to it although it has quite a few rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the concierge service was on par with the bigger competition. My room was nice and clean with a modern bathroom and WiFi service. It also had a large Plasma on the wall. The negatives were few and include not having an iron or ironing board in the room (although a call to the concierge got someone to iron my clothes for an additional charge). My room faced an alley without any view and a walk around the building revealed that there wasn't much view to be had in any oif the rooms since it was a block behind the main road which ran along the shore of beautiful Lake Geneva. Overall, this hotel offered great value and location and I will definitely stay there again.
