Lives up to its name

As a group of 7 we stayed in Shirley Bells. The view off the back porch is breath-taking. You can see the entrance to the park and Mammouth Hot Springs. Be aware, the yellowstone river is alot further down than it looks!
The cabin is large, roomey, and clean. The beds aren't bad. We brought our own sheets and sleeping bag but we are weird like that. The kitchen is fully equipted with all you need to cook and make coffee. Washer & Dryer but bring your own detergent. For food, there is a grocery store down in Gardiner. For city folks be prepared for well water. It has a slight smell which is normal for filtered well water.
Only negative is the drive up to the lodge. If you are coming after dark pray you have a GPS. The road up to the lodge is dirt (take out the extra insurance on the rental car), vertical, and winedy. It will feel like it takes forever to get up there the first couple of times.
