Not up To Hampton Standard

The gentleman who considered this motel to be on a level with the best hotels he has experienced during his international travel tells me he travels exclusively in Bangladesh outside of Dhaka, or he is extremely easy to please, or he was high at the time of the review, or he has an interest in this motel.
This motel has no gym.
The key card typically expires after 2 days, regardless of your reservation length. The explanation is perfunctory until you insist that the card be dated correctly. Apparently, 2 days is the policy unless it is contested.
My first room here had the desk wedged against the king bed , making entry from that direction tricky at best. My next room offered no desk - problem solved! The room layouts as far as the furniture is concerned are odd and not typicaly Hampton.
The hot water is exteremely hot and will burn you.
There is not enough drawer space if you are here more than 2 days. Two drawers and the big one has the extra bedding.
The curtains are cheap and light enters from all sides and top. There is a gap under the entry door large enough to slide a prison meal and of course it serves as a powerful night-light.
These room use locally controlled AC/Heat units (no wall thermostat) and the fan will not operate without AC or Heat running. So, at night, you must choose between only the fan or either the heater or AC kicking in on a regular basis. Nice...
Dry cleaning only is offered. If you have socks and underwear, just throw them away and buy new ones - it's a wash.
Location is poor unless you are visiting someone at the university. Voila.
The breakfast is up to Hampton standards. Other than that, their philosophy seems to be: no one stays here more than one or two nights, so why sweat it.
