Disney Hilton Head Island Resort, Hilton Head Island

We are Vacation Club owners (since 1993) and always visit Disney World to use our points. Since we sometimes drive down from Connecticut, we thought it might be interesting to break up the long ride back home by staying here. First stopped 5 years ago and have been back a couple of times. We love it to death!!! Classic Disney quality, service and dependability. Easy access to the beach and even though there is no full service restaurant on site, plenty of good eateries are within close proximity to the resort. After the craziness of the resorts at Disney World, this is a real nice respite for the end of our vacation and the beach, oh that glorious beach, is well worth the trip by itself. This is top notch stuff and this family highly recommends it.

We loved everything. The programing is great for kids. Can be a little noisy around the pool area(they have a lifeguard). Need to update their bikes, can rent ones for less and in better condition(deliver to your unit too)

This was a lovely place to stay. As a Disney Vacation Club owner, I knew what to expect. It was summer, and VERY hot, room was not readym and there was no place to wait out of the heat. Once we were in the unit, all was well. It was a long walk from our unit to the pool, but that's bc the resort is pretty sprawling. Wish there was a full service resturant on site though.

We've been going to Disney's Hilton Head since about 1997 and we've loved everything about it. No, the beach is not on-site, but how hard is it to throw your beach stuff in the car and drive 2 minutes to the beach? Don't have a car, then rent bikes and ride over. We have a car when we go to Hilton Head, but we rent bikes for everyone and just bike over to the beach. The staff is always cheerful and happy and listening to your every need 24/7. There's absolutely nothing to complain about there, it's the best place to vacation by far. Since the only on-site restaurant is the snack bar at the resort, we normally drive over to Fuddrucker's, Guisseppi's, or The Salty Dog Cafe. There are always many fun activities for kids and teens alike and everyone always gets to do what they like. We have a pretty large group, and no matter how big or small your group, there's definitely a room that will accomidate you and your needs. Over the years, we've stayed in all of the different rooms, from the basic room to the grand villa which sleeps 12. For all the lazy people who need a beach within 15 walking steps, go to Vero Beach where the beach is on-site. Anyways, Disney's Hilton Head is the absolute best place to go on vacation to. We've never been dissappointed, and we're going again this Thursday!

This is hands down the best place to stay on the island. I have been to Hilton Head several times, and then moved there for a year. I have stayed in the plantations, as well as, the Holiday Inn Express, but this is the best place to stay if you have a family and want security and excellent service and atmosphere.

Great place to go and relax. Disney quality w/o the choas of DisneyWorld. Very "camp-like" ...feel secluded but close to everything. My wife, 4 and 1 yr old, mother-in-law and I had plenty of room in the 2 bdrm suite. Full size kitchen is key w/ kids. Many on-site activities each day (primarily for 5-12 yrs), but enough for the younger ones too. 2 pools, short drive/shuttle to beachhouse, next to marina w/ great shops and restaurants. Went during off-peak so rates are good and the weather was still 85 each day. Would recommend HHI to anyone. We plan to go back the same time next year.

We go to HHI as a disney vacation club member every year. It is truly our home away from home. It does not feel like a hotel in any way. I always request the same 2 bed room unit and they have always come through with any request I would have. They brought 2 full size cribs to our room. They brought 2 high chairs and even a food mixer when asked. Just ask they will comply. A light bulb goes out. They are there right away to replace. I love DISNEY!

It was one of the best resorts i've been to in a long time. The location was perfect and the scenery and serenity of the whole place was just beautiful.

The room was fantastic. Very spacious. I stayed in a two bedroom villa. The villa/room was fully stocked with ALL the necessities of your own home. Although there was no onsite restaurant, there were plenty within minutes of the resort. The morning views were fabulous. I'm planning on returning as soon as possible.
