Econo Lodge Laramie, Laramie

When we arrived after a long day I was met with attitude but blew it off...just wanted to get into our room and get the kids settled and some dinner. Thought it was nice to have an outside door to bring in our stuff...what we were met with were tons of mosquitoes...swarms of them. They were also in our room along with some HUGE ants. It was also full of cobwebs and most of the lights and outlets didn't work. We tried to leave but were told no refund but were put into a different room. Cleaner but still some lights didn't work...neither did the ice machine or vending machines. Woke early in the morning and left as soon as possible. Never will I stay in that flea bag, run down, dirty place again.

I would never stay at this dump again. The owner was rude and he double charged me. No heat. No blankets-what the hell.....

Great location...easy to get to....nice pool...ok cont. breakfast. Room was nice for large family....3 double beds!! Very nice and informative front desk help..overall good value for your dollar.

This is an older hotel, but the service was good, and the room was clean. It also has free wireless internet and a nice breakfast. The indoor pool was nice as was the workout room. I would stay here again, and was happy with the experience.

We stayed here while our son had a thing at the University of Wyoming. When we first got there they had no record of our reservation. Then when we got to our room, it was fithy and cold. After we went out to eat our youngest son wanted to go swimming, it was 9 pm so we thought the pool would still be open. Some foriegn man(the manager) said that the pool was closing and that we had to leave, but he said he would keep it open if i paid him 5 bucks. So like any good dad would i paid the 5 bucks. After that incident we relized the shower knobs were switched around so my wife had a very cold shower that she didn't want. So Bad Service+ bad rooms = a very bad stay. NEVER COME HERE!!!!!

When I asked I the owner of the hotel if he had a military discount, he told me a rate which i later found out was MORE than the regular rate that the people in the room next to me were paying which was the same type of room. Possilby due to the fact that he is a eatern block forigner communist prick who hates american soldiers, I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone at any cost. However, the girl working at the front desk the next morning was very friendly and professional.

The Econo Lodge in Laramie was poorly serviced. Usually during the day at hotels, maids clean the rooms - pick up towels, replace them, make the beds - but at this one, they did not do this during our stay. I have also stayed at other hotels where if they do not clean everday, they put up signs so you know they aren't going to! There were red stains on the sheets, which I thought unacceptable. When we tried to get a hold of the manager, he was not available and would not call back. If you plan on staying in Laramie, try every other hotel before you try this one!

we stayed here one night on our trip to Arkansas, we liked the fact that our room had a outside door so we could bring in our cat since it was so cold out. the beds were smaller than what we wanted they had two doubles and we wanted a king (its not easy to fit two adults and a 15 lb cat on a double bed). I did laundry there and I was discussed with the dryers for $1.25 it didn't dry any of our clothes that we needed the next day. I had to ask the gal at the front desk to let me use the housekeeping dryer. We also had problems with the internet too that was wireless and they couldn't fix it. There was a indoor pol but they had it closed down and we wanted to go sit in the hot tub so bad.if you want a good place to eat go to the Iron Skillet at the truck stop across the interstate the buffet is great.

I stayed on 8/16/2007 through 8/20/2007. I had made my reservations in June and when I arrived there was a problem with the amount I was going to be charged. I showed a copy of my reservation confirmation and the problem was promptly fixed. The room was well maintained and service throughout was great. Breakfast consisted of; waffles, donuts, bagels, pancakes, milk, coffee, and Sunny-D. I had to use a toaster or microwave to heat the breakfast items up but they were still good for a complimentary breakfast. The pool was small but it is indoor and the temperature was perfect in it for cooling off at night. The clerk also opened the pool for me 30 minutes later than the advertised time. Was very accommodating and refused a tip. I give this motel a 5/5, it met my needs, location was great, staff was great, the room was clean, the rate was cheaper than others in town, and the breakfast was good. Very quiet location as well.

Our room was not clean and the air conditioner did not work. The clerk lied about the manager's name and would not move us to another room. After trying to contact the manager for one month, I finally got to talk to him by pretending to be his girlfriend. He refused any refund but offered us a 10% discount on our next stay. A letter was sent to us with terrible english, punctuation, CENTERED on the page and this was a business letter?
