Never Again - Avoid this place

We reserved and paid $100 each for two rooms on a Sunday night in advance, only to find when we checked in that the manager had shampooed all the carpets that day and the rooms were still drying out. The carpet was noticably damp, and the rooms had a musty smell that was very unappealing. Neither HVAC units was actually turned on to circulate any air until we arrived. We asked to change rooms, and were told none were available. I registered my objection to paying so much for uncomfortable rooms when we checked out, and was given the GM/owner's card (he wasn't there.) I wrote a letter to Comfort Inn Corporate about the poor service afterward, which got forwarded to the GM who sent a letter of apology that actually tried to put a positive spin on the fact that they were cleaning the carpets. Comfort Inn loses my future business for handling things so poorly, which was also noted by another reviewer who stayed at this motel too.
