First and foremost the management staff was EXTREMELY rude. One manager with very broken english through a literal fit over the amount of towels we requested for our room. There was five in our party and four towels. When we asked for more towels she "blew up" and didn't seem to grasp the concept of five towels for five bodies. Second, we paid a pet deposit for our dog to stay with us. On their website it does not give a size or amount limitation of animals allowed. We had one lab with us. At one point seeing the lab, who is still a pup, the manager literally jumped into an empty room to avoid our dog, who has a loud bark but is a LAB! The most people friendly of dogs. It was ridiculous. Third, we paid for a smoking room but had to spend two nights in a non-smoking room because they put us in the wrong room. Basically, I was paying for something I did not receive. The cleaing staff could not speak english and did not understand the simple phrase or "change our linens". True, it is not their fault but communication was a definite problem. Smokers and/or pet owners seem to be treated as second class citizens here. I have stayed here once before and had a good expierence. I guess that was under different management. Under this management I would not reccomend this hotel to Branson visitors when there is such a wide range of options. I will visit Branson again but not will not stay here. It seemed as if we were walking on egg shells and were an inconvience to the mgt. Being away from home is always stressful and I think it is the hotel's responsibility to make their guests feel as welcome as possible. I did not feel this here on this visit. The price is okay, the pool is okay, but the service is lacking in compassion and helpfulness. God forbid you get a pool towel acccidentaly mixed with a room towel. It was that kind of nit-picking that made this stay one I would like to forget. Some lessons I guess you have to learn the hard way, and I did during this stay. I would strongly suggest to check other options before considering this hotel at this time. There is just too many here to suffer at the hands of bad management and lack of compassion and understanding. Go somewhere else!
