Holiday Inn Express Roseburg, Roseburg

It is a great location, very clean, newer hotel... BUT.. i can hear every person around me. 2 nights in a row all i hear is someone pacing around in the room above, I have never stayed in a hotel that the floors creak.. guy next to me was playing his guitar at 2am, and then decided to pleasure his wife/gf.. which may be the LOUDEST person I have ever heard. Stayed there 4 nights and every night was worst then the last... I personally will not stay at this hotel again.

We have two children and needed a motel room during our family trip to Wildlife Safari. We made a great decision to stay at the Holiday Inn! The staff was so friendly (all of them) - from the front desk managers on the night shift to the motel maintenance team. The hotel is bright and clean. The rooms are spacious and right on the river - beautiful view. The kids had a blast playing in the pool - and we (the adults) liked the hot tub looking out onto the river. ALSO - we bought the Wildlife Safari package (through the motel) which saved us some money on the tickets (vs. buying them at the WS gate). A GREAT choice!

Great value. Every room has an unobstructed view of the river. Lots of ducks, geese and other waterfowl. Lots of flowers and lawn. great area for walks. Great breakfast buffet. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Great staff. Very restful setting.

We were traveling north and just needed a place to stay for the night--but we got a lot more. The hotel is new, and the rooms are furnished well if simply. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and servicable, and free internet and ample bath amenities round out the room. The unexpected was the view of the Uncompraghe (sp?) river from every room, the indoor pool, the outdoor spa in a Gazebo, the warm fireplace in the lobby, a small library in the breakfast room, and a free hot breakfast (basic, but adequate)--all somewhat unusual in this price range. Topped off with helpful service, there was nothing to fault.
