staff uncooperative and verbally abusive towards it's residents
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/08
It's convenience is a plus, the price is right; however, the attitude of it's leasing agent spoils any other positives there could be about the place. I actually over-heard a leasing agent named, Danielle literally tell off one of it's residents and she was even bold enough to get off the phone with the resident and tell me all about it - WOW! Imagine that coming from a place that prides itself as a friendly community. I understand they're in the process of remodeling which is greatly needed too. I can at least give them the benefit of the doubt for it's run-down appearence and can hardly wait to see it's enhancements from the highway. But all the remodeling in the world wouldn't be worth any long-term stay to have a leasing agent feel so confident in her job to freely tell it's residents off the way she was allowed to (expletives included). It was obviously clear that the agent expected no consequence or had no worries about her position, simply because she stated that she's family to the property manager.

Over rated

The location is great and so are the amenities such as the bowling alley, basketball court and free cable but the cleanliness is not so great. Lots of leaves, spots of trash, and beat up cars makes the complex look bad. The refrigerator, stove, kitchen cabinets, and closets are old and needs updating. The balcony wood of my apt is rotted out and makes the complex look poor as well. I feel the beauty of this place and the staff is overexaggerated. I went over a week and a half without hot water and even when they did fix it the hot water ran out after 5min of usage.

Excellent staff & service
By Evie, 10/09/05
My son needed a place to go immediately due to an emergency. Pickwick staff bent over backwards to assist & get he & his son into immediate housing w/out qualms. They have been incredible & the community is fairly clean w/large yards & facilities & nice furnished apts, with clean furniture, updated furniture. We give them 5 stars! Thanks staff!

ok stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/05
It was ok for staying a short time, couldnt picture myself living there, as some people do. The apartments smelled like smoke and looked shabby overall. The best part was the rec. center, they had a lot to offer with bowling and the pool and such. Overall, not a plesant stay for longer than 2 days (we stayed about a week, it was hard to handle for that long, esp. when you dont get many options for leaving the premises).
