Poor experience

I saw no evidence of "recently remodeled" rooms. Rooms were quiet and reasonably clean. However, this property is very outdated. Floors and floorboards were broken and unfinished. The grounds were littered with trash, lots of trash. I would not recommend.

Enjoyed our stay always

For the past two summers, my sons,grandchildren, and myself stay at Budget Inn. This yeare we brought other family member who also enjoyed them motel. "Sambo", as my sons have come to call the owner is just like family. He is very attentive to our needs and even participates in conversations with us during evening hours. As a native of Corning, I must say there are other motels and hotels and even family members we can stay during our visits; however, we always like going back to "Sambo Place." See you guys next year!!! your favorite South Carolina family :-)

no dislikes love it owners were so nice anr rooms were beautful recamend to anyone to stay there we would stay again wife said the water for showers was great thank you and god bless all

Dont waste your time

We were at this hotel for about a total of 2 hours. We checked in and checked out real fast. The rooms are not clean and had a terrible smell. We took the money loss and checked into another hotel. The atmosphere outside the hotel was not good. There are people that live there on a fulltime basis and hang out in the parking lot. My 12 year old daughter was petrified. It was a joke all the way around. Dont waste your time even looking at price on this one, its is soooo not worth the aggrevation.

I loved the place. Everyone was so nice and clean. The area is filled with nice people but also things to do only 10 minutes from a mall and 2 from a bowling ally.

Worth every penny I spent

I had the best stay ever at the Budget Inn, located next to LPGA country club - getting there was so easy. My room had a King size bed which was comfortable. The room was well-lit, clean and in better shape than some of the Ramada Inn's and Motel 6's, that I've stayed in before. The room had a refigerator & a microwave. I had Chinese food delivered to my room. I enjoyed my stay so much my first night there, that I stayed 3 more days. The staff is quite friendly also. When I checked out, I thanked the lady for such a wonderful stay. She also told me that they have been renovating the place since they took over late last year. Overall, I thought, I paid for cavalier & got a Caddilac MG
