Super 8 Ashland Richmond Area, Ashland

Had 2 teenagers with me wanting to swim.Pool was very nasty! Staff was friendly the only good point of hotel. Rooms seriously in need of updates. AC does not work properly. Lock broken on door and room had musty smell.

The staff was friendly but that's it. It was very noisy outside, someone tried to open our door in the middle of the night. The room was dirty, bed sheets were stained. Do not recommed to others. It was a cheap price but not worth the money.

The first room was completely falling apart. The telephone would not even work when we tried to call the front desk. The cartoon network channel would not pick up and that was the only decent channel for kids and the tv reception alone was terrible. Second room. Actuallu worse than the first. The mirrors looked like they had not been cleaned for at least a month. There was toothpick flossers behind the night stand. It was overall very nasty!!!!! Also, when we got back to our room, there were people sitting on the steps blocking them and drinking alcohol and we had our kids with us!!!! The hotel management seemed to be looking the other way. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed at and i promise I will never do that again and if you are smart and are reading this...you won't either!!!!

We checked into this hotel and noticed the room was musty and the bed was not made and had a huge stain on the sheets. When we asked for our refund, the lady at the desk was not at all willing to give us a refund. While we were at the front desk, another Gentleman was there asking for a refund also, and he was met with resistance also. During all of our Hotel stays over the years, we have never encountered such a deplorable staff. We will not be staying at this particular hotel again.
