Great Hotel
By ,
It was a great hotel, I stayed there a few nights. I paid for most of it with a free gift card that I got from ESPN. I think they're still giving them out at nflgiftcards.info, hurry before they run out!

Loved everything!
By ,
My husband and I stayed there for the first time and we loved it! The room was very nice and breakfast was included in our price. The food was amazing, loved everything we ordered! The crabcakes were great, my husband loved steak and he said it was the best he ever had. I had a pasta dish that was out of this world. The portions were huge and the appetizer came with a salad so you definitely get what you paid for! The owners were very friendly and so accommodating! I have never been at a place that made me feel so at home it was like stated with family!

Amazing Hotel and Restaurant
By ,
We just stayed here, and had one of the greatest experiences. The rooms where recently renovated and very clean, The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. The price was under $100.00 and included breakfast. We also had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed the food and the service. I would recommend this hotel and resaurant and I can't wait to stay there again.

Great Inn,Great Meals
By ,
What a pleasant atmosphere you will find at this comfortable, cozy inn. The even numbered rooms face the valley and the view is gorgeous, even when there's clouds! You are welcomed by the owner Ron,and from that minute on,you feel like friends. His wife Laurie runs the kitchen, which by the way, don't look any further for meals because the menu is extensive and we ate there both nights. With a party of 6 ,we sampled alot of the dinners, salads and appetizers...let me say , NO one disappointed!! The waitstaff is fun and prompt! (HI Colleen!!) The dining room holds over 200 people and would be a great place for small functions-ther's even a dance floor! Breakfast is a 'make it yourself' buffet. If the weather permits, take it out onto the decks! The fresh air and view will awake all your senses. There is a delicious array of fresh baked items, aromatic coffee,or just go for the fruit with cereal. We rode 5 motorcycles from Long Island. The inn is easy to find and park at,and Ron was very hospitable ,making sure there were towels for us to wipe the bikes . The gardens are colorful and serene. The spirits list at the bar extensive and Ron's concoctions ,intoxicating!. We will be going back very soon.

A waste of money
By ,
This place costs twice as much as any roadside motel. There is nothing to justify the difference. The pillows are like cardboard, the walls are paper thin, and the decor is cloying country-kitsch. The view is beautiful, the location is great for skiers, and this place could have a good thing going if they'd invest a little in some quality- better bedding, for one thing. We wanted to splurge and support a mom and pop establishment, but were disappointed with this place. Sadly the Hampton Inn is not only cheaper, but it also has super plush beds, a workout room, and a pool. Save yourself the ridiculous 200 dollars a night. Stay down the road in a little motel and you'll be just as comfortable.

We'll definitely return!
By ,
My husband and I went there for our anniversary. We had a great time and the owners were extremely personable. The atmosphere is pretty casual and laid back. We had a great dinner which was absolutely delicious. Since the food is fresh it does take a few minutes to get your meal but is well worth the wait. The view is outstanding, something not to be missed. We highly recommend this place if you want a good time in a relaxed atmosphere.

What a waste of a location
By ,
This place has a magnificent view and the potential to be a great dining destination. The prices, food and service are all lackluster though. When there were only two other people in the place it shouldn't have taken 30 minutes to make a club sandwich and open face steak sandwich. Plus, 13.00 for an open face steak sandwich would be fine if it were actually good and had real cheese as opposed to Kraft singles. It was a waste.

Sneaky surcharge
By ,
Great views but watch out for tacky little service charge that they don't tell you about when you make the reservation. It was about 8 dollars a day and they did'nt make up the rooms daily to boot. Is not a full srvice hotel and the crab cakes in the restaurant were more cake than crab. Not impressed by the owners who openly discussed their personal problems and weren't there to check us in at 11pm. A shame since it's a nice location. Won't go back on principle and mostly because of service charge sneakily tagged on. I saw it as an insurance policy to make sure we wouldn't be back.
