Words cannot Express my Gratitude - Please read.

I wanted to write to let everywhere thinking about a stop-over in Brooks Kentucky know what a wonderful hotel the Comfort Inn is. It's not only the hotel, but the wonderful, caring staff I would like to mention to you.
My mother and father were travelling to vacation in New Orleans about two weeks ago. They were getting tired and decided to stop for the night in Brooks, and choose the Comfort Inn as their home away from home.
My mother woke up about 5am to start their day and get going, when she noticed my father was not breathing. In her panic, she phoned the front desk. Within seconds she could hear sirens heading in her direction. The front desk had made all the necessary calls and people were on their way to help.
Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do for my wonderful father - he had passed away from a massive heart attack in his sleep. My mother was in a strange town thousands of miles away from home, alone, grief stricken, without knowing a soul.
The staff at the hotel went above and beyond in just so many ways, I would like to just name some of the wonderful things they did until I could arrive in Brooks to take my mother home. The staff cleaned the room, changing not only the linens but the mattress itself to make my mother more comfortable. They called her every hour - 90minutes to just check and make sure she was ok, offering to grab her breakfast, lunch, dinner anywhere in the city to make sure she ate, or at least knew she wasn't alone. Everyone at the hotel working signed a card for her, letting her know they were thinking and praying for her and our family. They gave special treatment to any phone calls coming to her room. They picked me up at the airport at midnight, no questions asked.
In the morning, Lisa was wonderful, asking my mother is there anything else we can do for you...anything at all.
It's that human touch, the above and beyond care they gave to us in a moment when we were without words, that has left an impression on our hearts and minds. I will never forget the wonderful staff at this hotel, and can never say thank you in the manner in which the staff should really hear. they deserve a round of applause and praise for their response to the situation and the humanity shown to a stranger. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and god bless - Shelly
