We tried to cancel our reservation, but was meant over the phone with a bitter derogatory attitude from Kathy. We were forced to stay 1 day from losing our hard working $$$, from the time we checked in to checking out, our family of four received dirty looks, slams on the counter, insulting remarks about small children. kathy told her assistant in front of our children to put our room above her office and to make sure the cameras were on because she wanted pictures. . We checked out, and was charged double. Kathy is abusive, insensitive to patrons needs, is a greedy bitter old woman who has no respect for human beings. Corporate should check in as a family and see the treatment they get so they can see the untolerated service. I reported her insulting mean behavior to corporate and the BBB and the Bishop chamer, hopefully someone can slap her with misdemeanor charges and make her go to professional charm school to learn how to be a simple minded manager. Corporate needs to buy the hotel back, fire her ass and send her back from where she came from, under a rock where she belongs, she is nothing but a rude unprofessional bitter old dog! No person should endure or tolerate what we went through for an entire day of abuse!

We had to cancel and missed the cancellation deadline by less than 1 hour. Our kid was sick and this was a major inconvenience. Still the manager refused categorically to let us cancel saying that it was "important to enforce the policy". Well... It will be important for us to never stay there anymore and we hope you do the same.

I was on a business trip. Originally, I'd booked the hotel for 2 nights. Late the first night, I became aware that I needed to go to another town the next day. I called the front desk; the clerk was not empowered to cancel the second night, nor call anyone. Two calls to the manager have gone unanswered. Am disputing the second night's charges to Mastercard. AND, the clerk knew I was going to another Holiday Inn Express the next night -- still, no help.

We drove for 6 hours across the desert and were expecting something a little nicer, especially for 195.00 a night. We had the junoir suite on the first floor at the end of the hall. Computer desk chair was tore up and stained, the management changed it prompty upon being notified. The light bulbs in the vanity were mismatched and burnt out, two of the six were 100watters one 35watt burnt out one 75watt two 35watt. The famous towels were hung crooked and one was fraid all over(I dont think anyone will steal these). Old bottle under the end table and dead batteries in one of the remotes. But not all bad the pool area is really nice and motel was right next to a nice park and it had a band playing with lots of families enjoying the warm evening. I would stay again but would check the room first before signing in.

We drove all day with three children, waiting all day to swim in the pool we have enjoyed for many years before our trip to Mammoth. We arrived at 9:30 PM. the reservationist, Kathy Schafer was so rude about swimming. We have swam here until 11 PM for many years in the past. I had called in the morning to make a reservation and confirmed that the pool would be open. She wouldn't budge and hung up on my husband. We will never stay here again. We even called reservations again to confirm the pool hours. She was just lazy...As a business owner, she would be fired immediately Sincerely, Suzanne Popp Coronado CA

the rooms where exactly like all the other ones in town but cost like 100 tho 120 dollars! since it was on the highway it was noisy and it is next to the gas station and park to! i didnt like it.

i like the quite location the morning breakfast and friendly people been staying here for at least 5 years hotel does not smell from pinesoel thank you very much patti ojai ca
