Completely unhelpfull

The location was good, but the rest of the experience was awful! First they messed up our initial reservation, (somehow two, non-smoking double beds, translated to two single beds and a crib). Upon arrival we were given the number of beds we needed, but only smoking rooms were available. Hotel staff said non-smoking rooms were available but that we would have to pay an upgrade. They kept insisting that the fact that our room was a smoking room was disclosed to us at the time of reservation. (Trust me if it were disclosed we would not have made the reservation!) We, for medical reasons, could not stay in a smoking room. We found another hotel but still had to pay for the room we never used. Spoke with front desk clerk and manager - both were condecending and unhelpfull. (We never got mad - we just wanted to work out a resonable solution - no one wanted to work with us.) A call to the Comfort Inn corporate headquarters was fruitless as they do not help in billing disputes. (Apparently Comfort Inns doesn't care what their manager's say to customers as long as the franchise fees continue to arrive!)
