Been twice and will go back more times.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/09
I really liked staying here it was brilliant, very clean and safe place to stay, noticed under new management and lots of improvement, staff are polite and very helpful. Maids are doing a much better job than before carpets are more clean and bathrooms are spotless, new bedding.

Hotel from Hell
By Exodus, 04/02/09
I had the most awful experience at this hotel/motel. The beds are filled with bed bugs , the rooms were dirty and the roll away beds had dirty clothing in them from previous guest. One of the owners told us that it is only cleaned when requested. This is the worst place I have ever been too and I would never recomend or go there ever again.

You get what you pay for....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/09
I disliked the dirty carpet- sox were black after walking around. There was a stale, musty smell to the room (my clothes still had the smell when I got home) The bathroom fan sounded horrible and was caked with dust. The bathroom was clean, though- the tile floor looked new.The owners were nice and I felt bad for them- they are trying to make ends meet. They were helpful with directions to places. But they need to steam clean the carpets! The place is old and needs updating. The location is iffy, looks like a high crime area. The price was cheap-$54 a night, so I guess you get what you pay for. I would prefer something closer to the beaches. The beds were comfortable, though. The Comfort Inn down the street looked much newer~I would only return if I had no other choices.

Do not stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/08
From the minute we got there it was a horrible stay. When we arrived housekeeping was still cleaning our room as we came in. When she left the room was still dirty! Hair in the shower, hair under the sheets, and hair on the pillow cases!! This is not acceptable by any ones standards. After we left we called to complain and they were not apathetic to the complaint and offered us a 10 dollar refund. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. The hotel was dirty and the customer service to rectify the situation is poor.

Bates Motel Remake
By Shanice, 07/17/08
I was almost expecting Anthony Perkins to appear from the shadows and attack my family and I . The Days Inn was the worst place I have ever stayed at....wouldnt return for free . The staff was rude , unprofessional and didnt have any customer service skills. Under new management and I wasnt aware of it so I returned . I have stayed there once before. I couldnt see a thing they lights were so dim . The shower looked horrendous and needed some elbow grease . The cleaning ladies were rude, the carpets were disgusting, and the room smelled of smog. Never EVER EVER stay at this hotel. You will be very unhappy . The only good thing about staying there ... was checking out.

dirty
By Matthew, 07/12/08
The carpet was filthy, the room smelled. The kitchen had broken glasses in the cabinet. The door knob was falling off in the bathroom. I will never come back.

Highly Recommended
By RonaldT, 06/02/08
We liked the competative price (less than $60.00 pre-tax), exemplary cleanliness, and cheerful staff. Another plus is the fact that this motel is less than two miles from parking areas at Tropicana Field. The coffee was very good, also. Actually, there was nothing that we disliked about the place, although the breakfast is sparse (sweet rolls and orange juice). Overall, it's a good deal. RJT

Stay Away - Bed Bugs!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/07
I stayed here on Memorial Day weekend while in St Pete. I came home with bed bug bites all over my arms and legs (still itching). So did my fiance. I have tried contacting the manager and still no response. I have traveled a lot and never got bed bugs anywhere else. If there is somewhere else to stay - stay there!

Smelly, Dark and DIrty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/07
Well I will start off with the good. The bed was comfortable and they have wireless internet. Now for the bad. Check out the so called continental breakfast. It consist of a miniature cinnamon roll and doughnuts. The room smells of mildew as if it had flooded and the carpet was never pulled out. The room is dark, even with all the lights on. I went to take a shower and as I stepped into the shower I noticed that my feel left dirty impressions. The only place this could have come from is the carpet, since this in the only place that I went barefoot all day. Don't stay here!! If I have to return to this area I will pay a few extra bucks and have a clean well lit room.
