Fabulous!

My boyfriend and I stayed last week and we loved every part of this gorgeous hotel. Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed, fireplace, huge plasma TV and even a TV built into the mirror in the bathroom! The people at the hotel and restaurant were very warm and couldn't do enough for us. Food at Zees was great.
 
 
 
 
 
CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN

Thank you Shaw Club Hotel and Spa for an outstanding stay with you. Your rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet, the food at Zees was amazing and the staff were beyond great. I understand they have gone through quite a few renovations and that their management team is new, but what ever you are doing, keep it up!!
 
 
 
 
 
a little pricey for my money

although overall the room was comfortable, it was very small---also i thought the basket of goodies given would have been complimentary due to the price of the room itself!! we stayed at the marriot torono days later and received a free fruit basket and water upon arrival!!---also there was left over cake in our fridge---Zee's restaurant had no AC during dinner our stay also---would have liked a free desert or drink at least while sweltering---the contiental breakfast fruit was a bit underwhelming also---overall a very young staff and not enough of them---we shall call this the PSHAW INN

Great hotel and restaurant!

My husband and I went to the Shaw Club Hotel in November to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect birthday present. The staff is exceptional, the rooms are modern and spotless, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We ate at Zees for dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the presentation - I loved the special dishes they had for the dinners, and they have a great selection of Niagara wines. It is in a nice location, within easy walking distance to quaint shops, the waterfront and the Shaw Festival Theatre. We can't wait for our next visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake and will definitely stay at the Shaw Club Hotel again!
 
 
 
 
 
Be careful!

Made a reservation two months in advance, and three weeks before the trip my plans fell through. I cancelled the reservation and they charged me $25. I've never been charged a cancellation fee, especailly when I give the hotel three weeks in advance. Apparently, it doesnt matter how long in advance, if you change or cancel the reservation you will be charged $25, and if it is less than 10 days, they will charge you one nights stay. It doesn't get any better than this

From the moment we checked in we were treated first class all the way. The room was large, clean and modern with tasteful decor. The bathrooms alone are worth a review all by themselves. The dinner we had at Zees was wonderful and I can't wait to go back.

We can't wait to go back. It looks like renovations are in the works for next summer and we're already trying to book a room. We loved the location and cancelled reservations that we had at other restaurants so we could eat at the hotel restaurant, Zees, again and again.
