Beautiful views but we will never return!
This hotel and resort is about 4 Km from town which is fine if you have your own car, but less desirable if you have to rely on public transportation. They have fantastic facilities, such as an indoor pool, bowling alley, indoor tennis court, etc.. There is excellent free WiFi Internet access in the lobby. The views from the guest rooms can be fantastic, especially rooms 321, 323, 325, etc..
All rooms have twin beds, which are foam mattresses on wood pedestals. The only room amenities were two towels, a tiny bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper, so bring your own shampoo! The night we were there, hundreds of teenagers were running up and down the hallways, banging on doors, shouting, etc.. until after midnight. The situation was made worse by paper-thin plywood walls causing you to hear every word spoken by people in adjacent rooms. The power went out shortly after midnight and did not come on again until after 6 am, when I jumped in the shower to enjoy the hot water from the instant hot water heater. Alas, moments later, there was no more water.
Breakfast is not served until after 7 am, but even then, the service was very slow. We had to send back the hot cocoa, as it tasted foul. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and sympathetic, immediately agreeing to refund our prepayment for the second night.
