Green Valley Country Club/Hotel & Resort, Baguio City

Though some may find the distance from the city as something to dislike I think that it actually is one of the charms of the hotel. Why take a vacation if you want to be in a crowded place anyway. The hotel is located on the second highest peak and that makes it cooler and perfect for a nice mountain vacation. You can no longer smell the pines in the city but you can still have that clean mountain scent when you are in Green Valley Hotel. The food is good and affordable and the staff is courteous. True that there are no front desk staff during the night maybe because it is outside the city the hotel seldom gets night check-ins but the security guards assigned to help the guests are nice and seem able to assists guest with their queries and requests. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and respectful, they are ready to make your beds upon request but also respect the privacy of people who does not wish it. All in all it is a place that mountain lovers should try and a place that i will definitely return to.

I had such a bad and shocking experience at the Hotel. Although the location is breathtaking unfortunately the staff are VERY inexperienced in dealing with their customers or in understanding their role. Our room were not made, the menu for breakfast is very limited and unhealthy. The front desk staff are unable to come to our assistance when help was needed. Skillful staff should be in place to promote the hospitality of the hotel. There is no front desk at night...security is a huge question especially at night. Shocking experiences indeed.

This hotel and resort is about 4 Km from town which is fine if you have your own car, but less desirable if you have to rely on public transportation. They have fantastic facilities, such as an indoor pool, bowling alley, indoor tennis court, etc.. There is excellent free WiFi Internet access in the lobby. The views from the guest rooms can be fantastic, especially rooms 321, 323, 325, etc.. All rooms have twin beds, which are foam mattresses on wood pedestals. The only room amenities were two towels, a tiny bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper, so bring your own shampoo! The night we were there, hundreds of teenagers were running up and down the hallways, banging on doors, shouting, etc.. until after midnight. The situation was made worse by paper-thin plywood walls causing you to hear every word spoken by people in adjacent rooms. The power went out shortly after midnight and did not come on again until after 6 am, when I jumped in the shower to enjoy the hot water from the instant hot water heater. Alas, moments later, there was no more water. Breakfast is not served until after 7 am, but even then, the service was very slow. We had to send back the hot cocoa, as it tasted foul. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and sympathetic, immediately agreeing to refund our prepayment for the second night.

i like this place.. will get back again. it is not too noisy and and very private. at night, it is cold. precisely the reason why everyone wants to be at baguio.

The place was private, relaxing and nice. food is pretty good and affordable.. it was so relaxing bcoz its overlooking..The only problem is little far from the city proper but its ok!.. We had a great vacation with my HONEY! I'll never forget the GREENVALEY!

The place is good.but its very far from the city proper. You have to get a taxi to go to the city but taxi fare is very affordable. Food being served is nice and prices are also affordable.

i like the plce coz its beauriful its good to unwind and relaxing.the attendant is hospitable.you have a good location because it is over looking the mountains, and its good for a nature lover just like me.
