Lewis River Inn, Woodland

I stayed last summer with my two small boys...we now plan our family trips around stopping there!

We really loved the view from the balcony of our riverview room. The room was very nice, the king bed comfy, high end furnishings, fluffy large towels, and even a magnifying mirror on the bathroom mirror! The couple in the office (I think they were probably the owners) were super nice. Can't wait to plan another trip and stay there again.

I'm always pleased to find a pet friendly hotel that doesn't charge an exorbitant pet fee. We paid $69 plus tax per night (one queen bed) and that included the pet fee. The room was neat, clean and quiet and the proprietors were friendly. If you're not traveling with pets (they only allow pets in certain rooms) ask for a newly remodeled room, a Riverside room or the Burma King room. You'll pay a bit more, of course, but it might be worth it to treat yourself. The room prices include breakfast, and they had pastries, muffins, bagels, apples, yogurt, coffee, etc...the usual fare. This hotel is also within walking distance to a grocery store, gas station and several restaurants.

We have stayed at the Lewis River Inn each summer since 2002. The owners are very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's also a very pet friendly facility. Can't wait for our return trip in July.
