Coral Beach Motel, Ormond Beach

We stayed for two nights. Beachfront view was beautiful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Cable channels were limited, but we did not spend a lot of time in the room to care. Bathroom was clean except a leg that appeared to have belonged to a roach was on the vanity when we arrived. The towels were clean. A sign is posted asking guests to dry off before entering the elevator, but both elevators reeked of chlorine. The staff was friendly and courteous upon check-in and check-out. The room attendant did not service our room Friday even though she was working on the room besides our when we left for the day. The location was convenient to groceries, restaurants, entertainment, and basic shopping needs. If you are looking for a resort, top notch service, and atmosphere please look elsewhere, but if you need a place to lay your head and refresh between activities consider this bargain.

We stay a coral beach every year and love it! They have very helpful and friendly staff as well as wonderful rooms with great ocean views. My favorite thing of all was how nice and comfortable the rooms are. I would recomend this hotel to any one with small children!!

w/ fees & taxes we paid over $400 / night for the "Pent House" and it was horrible. No water pressure. Old, nasty furniture. Uncomfortable Beds. And clogging coffee maker. Plus the A/C Unit poured heat onto the Balcony so it could not be enjoyed at all. If we're going to spend that kind of money during a special event, we'll stay someone NICE and not here.

Some rooms are really worn out. Some have been slightly updated. Outdoor pool was disgusting. Staff said the pool guy stopped showing up. Don't stay here if you're used to Hampton Inns or higher. If you're on a budget and are here for the beach - go for it! This is basically a run-down, slightly seedy hotel in a great location.

We go down 2 to 4 times a year.This time it was for the Turkey Rod Run. We will definitely stay at this motel again. Everything was great.

Loved the location! Our room was oceanfront and the view was wonderful. The indoor and outdoor pools were great. Staff at the front desk were friendly. I wish they would keep pool open all night. Only complaint we had the 3 nights we were there was the beds were not changed, just made every morning. Then when we asked about it they gave us the sheets to change the beds our selves. (the maids were gone for the day). No big deal really. Would stay again. Overall was very pleased with the motel and amenities. Beds not real comfortable.

My husband and I have been coming to this motel for 6 years now and we love it. The Coral Beach is always clean, friendly, and have excellent rates. We can not wait til next year when we come back.

We stayed at the motel for 3 nights. The kids loved the fact that there was an indoor and an outdoor pool. The beach was right there and the view from our room was good. We had a room on the side and we could view the ocean and the street side from our balcony without all the noise from the pool area. so we had all of the action. The housekeepers were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms smelled very clean with fresh towels daily. The only bad thing was they did not unlock the gate to the beach until 7:00. Otherwise, We can't wait to go back next year.

this motel was a really good size, there were two bedrooms, two tvs and had a kitchen. But not really close to the action... but would return.

We loved the location, value and the friendliness of all employees. We have stayed here at least 2 times a year for about 8 or 10 years. Only regret my husband passed away and I do not get there very often any more But whn I come back to the area this is where I will stay. Hoping to be back soon. G.H. Tennessee
