Dont go there!

We thought we would be going to a beautiful bed and breakfast where we would get to know some new people and a new environment. However, as we pulled into lower class neighborhood where dogs lay in the middle of the street, the local "nice" steak house is attached to a liqour store and you are too scared to park your car incase it may get broken in to. So, we gave it a chance, thinking that possibly the staff may put us at ease. The actual Inn was cute, exactly like the picture, but the service was just horrible. The girl who let us in did not even know what she was doing. We asked her questions about the property and she had no idea about anything. The owner was not friendly and too busy booking and planning weddings for the weekend that she could not even say hello. The room was quaint, kind of what we expected except really dusty. The breakfast was delicious but that was the only good thing about the place. Stay away, its in the middle of no where and a good 45 minutes from Cambria..........pay a little more for a better area and possibly friendlier owners.

Perfect example of you get what you pay for

My wife and I booked at this hotel because it came up under a search for San Louis Obispo Hotels; however it's about 20 miles outside of SLO on the other side of Pismo. 1. The first sign that this was a bad decision was the first second we drove up. This B&B is not located in any sort of scenic area by any means, something you will not see in pictures. In fact, it is located smack in the middle of a middle-lower class residential area, directly across from some low-rent apartments. If we were not going to be charged with an extra nights stay, we would have driven off without setting foot inside. Hey at least there's a community liquor store a block away, so you can always pick up a bottle of Thunderbird to fit in. 2. The reservation company assured my wife that the room we reserved had a private bathroom in the room. Well it did have a private bathroom, but it was located up the hall. My wife was very specific about wanting a bathroom in the room. Had we been told the truth about this, we would not have stayed. Had we not been charged before we saw the room, we would have left. 3. The residential neighborhood in which this B&B is located has everything you would expect from a residential neighborhood: Dogs, Harley Davidson’s, Peacocks. Bring ear plugs. 4. Apparently the B&B did not bill us correctly for our stay and decided to withdrawal an extra nights stay from spending account without permission a month later. After much pain and a horribly unprofessional email from the owner (that blamed us for not ensuring they charged us correctly), they finally refunded the $35 overdraft fee that was assessed to our account from their unauthorized charge.
